Doerr said she remember the man because he was white and she preferred African-American clients. She said she engaged with sexual acts with him three times. The man, she said, was very relaxed and "strictly business."

Doerr says she usually had three or four customers a day. “I didn’t take every caller,” Doerr says. “I did what I needed to make sure that I was OK.” The majority of her clients were middle-class, white males.

So, she remembered RH because he was white and she preferred African Americans clients, Yet, the majority of her clients were white males.

My question- If you have found your dead child in his car seat, why are you calling the daycare? To ask if he is there? To ask if you put him back in the car? To ask what to do now?
Why on earth would you call the daycare? You didn't even call 911 yourself. I can see calling the wife, but not work (calling in for tomorrow?) or the daycare, UNLESS there is someone there that you have a relationship with, and it's certainly not like RH is not playing the game and looking for relationships or whatever outside of his marriage. If there was a relationship there, and that person may also be married, or just does not want to be sucked into this ugly situation, the person may not want to own up to taking the call. I want him to have to explain why he called there of all places.
MOO

catching up sorry, so may have most likely been commented on.
at 4:04pm he had spoken to LH on phone.
On scene RH called wife first, no answer. He knew she would be going to the Daycare to pick Cooper up. (already prearranged via text message "what time are you picking little buddy up" , paraphrasing that but RH had sent LH a text earlier to that subject/ testimony she most of time who picked up in evenings and since she did not answer her phone, then the next best thing and in my opinion was to call the daycare where she was going. Others were on scene and he already knows he deceased, he was trying to get a hold of the child mother. Things were going fast on scene and I can not nor will not even try to say why what was done in order done. this is jmho from hearing testimony.

I was very disappointed in the witnesses testimony today.

The security person who said it stood out to him that Ross told him he was going to a movie. In the past Ross only spoke to him in general polite hellos and goodbyes. Is this all the prosecutors have? This is suppose to make Ross guilty? He saw Leanne upset when she arrived at the Home Depot looking for Ross. News story of Cooper breaks into the normal tv schedule. Everyone watches it on the lobby tv screen and Leanne is quiet. Again, this makes her guilty? Could she have been in shock or disbelief that this must be a nightmare?

The computer expert testimony did nothing to convince me that Ross was searching these sites. Even the expert who used the search words "child free" never went on the site to see what was posted. He did not know what kind of site it was or what was posted. The computer expert in the salmon top was stating "I only download the data based on keywords and send it to detectives". She did not want to admit responsibility that she found nothing.

The escort, Daniela. What was the point of her testimony? That Ross is a man who pays for sex? Move over because many happily married men are doing this everyday. Does this show poor character? Sure but it does not show he purposely left his child in the car to die.

The prosecutors better have more evidence than this or they are going to lose. I am more convinced than ever that Ross was arrested because he yelled at the officers, did not act or cry at the appropriate times, had socially awkward conversations, sexted with women, went to prostitutes and was a lousy husband.

Hasn't it been stated that his interview with RH was but audio and video recorded?

Has not been played in trial yet (or that I have seen yet so possible. I have only seen the reference that Stoddard told in the Bond Hearing. So I will await the evidence to that comment. JMHO

It's about 30 seconds to the U-turn. It is impossible for me to believe that Ross 1) buckled Cooper in the car, 2) saw Cooper and was able to determine he feel asleep, and 3) then subsequently forget Cooper was in the car. That supposedly occurred in approximately 90 seconds. If that is what the DT wants to try and sell, I am not buying any of it.

And backed into a space at work, without a back up camera in the car, so he would have had to turn his head, and he would have seen Cooper.

Didn't RH leave work EARLY that day (do go to the movies?) Why would he tell a staff person or security person that he is leaving work to do personal stuff? Weird.
Disclaimer: have not watched most of today's trial so may not be correct answer in context to your post.
Having said that, just from your post, 1) testimony so far shows that RH is a chatterbox imho, 2) I have worked where we had security and since you see then daily most people know who they are. Some make small talk. Since RH was leaving early (possible earlier than normal for the most part) or just as a gesture of acknowledgement have a nice evening sort of thing, may have asked leaving early or something in that line...and RH said going to movie? Which I could see happening at places where I have worked. Just that acknowledgement or have nice evening blah blah. Enjoy your movie. So forth. JMHO I see nothing weird or out of place, at least in the South where I live.

Today, 09:39 AM#383 BlueBanana
And that he told the security guy his friend's name??? Weird.

RBBM, but the friend also worked at Home Depot (also goes with my comment above) JMHO

Did anyone watch Vinnie Politan today when he interviewed Leanne's attorney?

My husband never turns his head when backing up. Our SUV does not have a back-up camera and he relies solely on the side mirrors. Me, on the other hand, cannot do it without constantly turning my head.:blushing:

I agree with your statement. It is very common in the South to be friendly and pleasant. Leaving work early will also make you feel good so you might even tell someone you are leaving to see a movie.

At Walmart or grocery stores the cashiers I do not know will share personal information sometimes. To someone who does not live here, that might seem weird. It was only weird to the security guard much later and was not in his original statement. Again, it seems like the police/detectives planted seeds.

I thought they already tried and it's been allowed.

Motion was denied, but new info has came out in trial testimony JMHO that may make the Def want to again ask the Judge to revisit. Can still be thrown out prior to being presented in trial I THINK.

JMHO, from testimony so far, the Def is definitely discrediting the investigation and building their (Def) that the charges are not factual via evidence. JMHO

My husband can back into a parking space by using the mirrors. He never turns his head.

No, I missed that.

Anything new?

I did not watch Vinnie Politan but many people were talking about it on chat. Leanne's attorney was a guest and I was wondering if he gave out some additional information about her or the case.

But mirrors leave blind spots, especially in a big vehicle like an SUV. I think your method is much better! [emoji3]

The witness specifically said it was weird for Ross to tell him about the movie. He said he was not Chatty with him ever. Also it is a fact that cooper was too big for the car seat. We have a entire thread dedicated to it.

Edited to say this post lands randomly after me catching up...not at anyone specific just thoughts after reading the last 5-6 pages

Hmmm, I'm trying to do the math on the escorts pregnancy. [emoji848]

She found out she was pregnant 3 weeks after Cobb County officers came to the Econolodge to ask about the defendant.

And I only ever use my driver's side mirror and my rear view mirror, the latter set higher than I'd be able to see anything lower than the head rests of the back seat.

I've commented on this before, that it never occurred to me before this case 's discussion that peeps backed their cars up in so many different ways.

It would be a remarkable coincidence, imo, if all the jurors happened to turn around towards the back seat as they backed up their cars . Doubt that 'll be the case, and that the jury will understand there was nothing inevitable or necessary about RH seeing Cooper when he parked at work that day.

IMO, because he was sexting with a 16 year old, knew it was illegal, wasn't going to stop doing it, and out of some weird curiosity, checked into what would happen to him if caught.

If the date of that search (I'm assuming for the sake of discussion Stoddard got that one right) fell in the 2 weeks before Cooper's death and is brought up by the State, his interest in the subject will be open to both interpretations, imo.

And.....Kilgore in opening specifically smacked down the State's assertion RH made any such searches.

-(BBM) The opening statements are not testimony. Kilgore can say whatever he wants in the statement, that doesn't mean anything until the actual testimony comes. So I will reserve opinion on that topic.

I wonder why Leanne was allowing Ross to take Cooper to school late on a regular basis?

And why is he picking up food for teachers on days he is running late for work?

I bet these were women teachers. Jmo
 why would the working mother allow the father to take him to daycare? Daycare that is one where said father works? I honestly do not understand how this would even appear to be odd.

On buying the teachers breakfast, JMHO from testimony, as I understand it that was not an all the time thing. It appeared to me that was maybe a one time thing. I know the one witness couldn't remember if she called and asked or asked when RH called and told was going to take Cooper to CF.

Respectfully BBM, not being snarky but I take it you are not watching or have watched the daily archived videos to know that yes these were female teachers.

Yes, but with 2-3 clients per day there is no telling who the father of her child is. Most prostitutes who get pregnant do not even try to find out who the father of the child is since most of their clients are strangers.
