Oops - sorry I totally forgot to post the first week of September's trial & sentencings. I have an excuse - I went on vacation! 
For the week of Monday, September 9th thru Friday, September 13th:
Monday, Sept. 9th:
*Trial set to begin (@ 9:30am ET) – FL – Kameela Russell (41) (May 15, 2019, last seen in driveway of Aunt’s house, found May 25, 2019 in Snake Creek canal, City of Miami Gardens) - *Ernest Joseph Roberts (39/now 44) arrested (6/14/19), charged (6/13/19), indicted (7/17/19) & arraigned (7/18/19) with 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. No bond. (5/18/20: bond denied due to COVID). DP Case. DA has waived the DP. Miami-Dade
Trial was set to begin on 6/17/24 continued on 9/9/24.

6/17/24 Motion for continuance filed. Oral set for 6/17/24. Trial continuance-granted with stipulation. Trial will now begin on 9/9/24 @ 9:30am.
Tuesday, Sept 10th:
*Plea Hearing/Trial Setting Hearing (Jail Damage) (@ 9am CT) - MO – Darnell S. Gray (4) (missing Oct. 25, 2018, Jefferson City, found Oct. 30, 2018) – *Quatavia Lwoun Givens (26/now 30) (ex-gf of father) arrested & charged (10/31/18) & arraigned (11/8/18) with 1st degree child abuse resulting in death. [Dismissed 8/24/21). Indicted (12/18/18) with felony abuse or neglect of a child. [Dismissed 8/24/21]. Indicted (10/29/19) with 2nd degree murder. [Dismissed 8/24/21]. Indicted & charged (8/25/21) with 1st degree murder, child abuse or neglect, serious emotional or physical injury-no sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child in the 1st degree, death of a child-no sexual contact & abandonment of a corpse in the death of Darnell. (No plea on this yet). Plead not guilty to 2 other charges. No bond changed (3/21/19) to $100K Cash ONLY bond. Bond reduced (9/30/19) to $5K Cash or Surety Bond. Out on bond 9/30/19. Rearrested 8/26/21 when indicted on new charges & held without bond. Bond reduction denied (3/16/22). Cole County
Jury selection was set to begin on 9/7/23 continued with no further dates. (2 days). Jury will be selected from Pulaski County & brought to Cole County for trial.
Trial was set to begin on 9/11/23 continued with no further dates. (2 weeks reserved).

3/12/24 Update: Plea/Trial Setting scheduled. Hearing continued/rescheduled. State appears by Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Landrum. Defendant appears via video. Case continued on 5/14/24 at 9am.
5/14/24 Update: Plea/trial setting hearing was continued & rescheduled on 9/10/24 @ 9am. Judge State appears by Asst. prosecutor attorney Louenco. Defendant appears via video & by attorney Schmidt. Case continued.
*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am ET) - NY – Fahim Saleh (33) (July 15, 2020, Manhattan) – *Tyrese Devon Haspil (21/now 25) taken into custody (7/17/20), indicted (9/16/20), charged & arraigned (10/13/20) with 1st degree murder & 2nd degree murder [intention], 2nd degree grand larceny, 2nd degree burglary, concealment of a human corpse & tampering with physical evidence [conceal/destroy]. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. New York Criminal Superior Court
Trial began on 5/7/24 with jury selection (thru 5/22/24). Trial began on 5/24/24 & ended 6/21/24. Jurors took only 3 hours to Haspil guilty of all charges. Sentencing hearing on 9/10/24.

6/24/24 Update: Jury Deliberations: Jurors in Manhattan Supreme Court took just three hours to find Haspil guilty on all charges that he’d faced for tasing Saleh to incapacitate him, then stabbing him to death inside Saleh’s $2.4 million seventh-floor condo on East Houston Street. Sentencing hearing on 9/10/24 @ 9am.
