*Trial set to begin (@ 9:30am ET) – FL – Kameela Russell (41) (May 15, 2019, last seen in driveway of Aunt’s house, found May 25, 2019 in Snake Creek canal, City of Miami Gardens) - *Ernest Joseph Roberts (39/now 44) arrested (6/14/19), charged (6/13/19), indicted (7/17/19) & arraigned (7/18/19) with 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. No bond. (5/18/20: bond denied due to COVID). DP Case. DA has waived the DP. Miami-Dade

Gray (4) (missing Oct. 25, 2018, Jefferson City, found Oct. 30, 2018) – *Quatavia Lwoun Givens (26/now 30) (ex-gf of father) arrested & charged (10/31/18) & arraigned (11/8/18) with 1st degree child abuse resulting in death. [Dismissed 8/24/21). Indicted (12/18/18) with felony abuse or neglect of a child. [Dismissed 8/24/21]. Indicted (10/29/19) with 2nd degree murder. [Dismissed 8/24/21]. Indicted & charged (8/25/21) with 1st degree murder, child abuse or neglect, serious emotional or physical injury-no sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child in the 1st degree, death of a child-no sexual contact & abandonment of a corpse in the death of Darnell. (No plea on this yet). Plead not guilty to 2 other charges. No bond changed (3/21/19) to $100K Cash ONLY bond. Bond reduced (9/30/19) to $5K Cash or Surety Bond. Out on bond 9/30/19. Trial began on 5/7/24 with jury selection (thru 5/22/24). Trial began on 5/24/24 & ended 6/21/24. Jurors took only 3 hours to Haspil guilty of all charges. Sentencing hearing on 9/10/24.

6/24/24 Update: Jury Deliberations: Jurors in Manhattan Supreme Court took just three hours to find Haspil guilty on all charges that he’d faced for tasing Saleh to incapacitate him, then stabbing him to death inside Saleh’s $2.4 million seventh-floor condo on East Houston Street. Sentencing hearing on 9/10/24 @ 9am.

Friday, Sept. 6th:
*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am MT) - ID – Daralyn Renée Johnson (9) (missing Feb. 21, 1982, found Feb. 24, 1982, Nampa. Her body, which had been sexually assaulted & beaten, was found in a shallow drainage ditch along the Snake River in Melba by a group of fishermen. Johnson sustained blunt force trauma to the head & torso, but ultimately died from drowning) - *David Allen Dalrymple (24 @ time of crime/62/now 66) charged (5/4/20) & formally charged & re-arraigned (10/27/22) with felony 1st degree murder & felony rape. Plead not guilty. No bond. DA will not seek DP. Canyon County
Trial began on 5/13/24 & ended 6/26/24 with a guilty verdict of all charges. Sentencing hearing on 9/6/24.

6/26/24 Wednesday, Trial Day 29: Brief filed. State's Brief in Opposition to Defendant's Motion to Dismiss. Court minutes. Jury question #1 & response by Judge. Jury reached a guilty verdict of all charges. Sentencing hearing on 9/6/24 @ 9am.
9/6/24 update: Dalrymple was sentenced to consecutive life terms Friday by 3rd District Judge Thomas Whitney, who called Dalrymple’s crimes “heinous in the extreme,” according to a news release from the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office.

9/10/24 Update: Manhattan DA Alvin L. Bragg Jr. today announced the sentencing of Haspil to 40 years-to-life in state prison for the brutal 2020 murder of his former boss, 33-year-old tech CEO Fahim Saleh, after stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from him. He is also required to pay full restitution back to the companies. On June 24, 2024, a New York State Supreme Court jury convicted HASPIL on all counts, including one count of Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, one count of Burglary in the Second Degree, among other charges.

9/12/24 Update: Thursday attorneys were arguing over the admissibility of evidence including text messages between Donna Adelson & her son Charlie about news coverage of the case as well as text messages between Donna Adelson & her daughter Wendi within hours of Charlie Adelson’s conviction. Tallahassee Police Sergeant Chris Corbett was called to the stand Thursday morning to discuss cell phone location data. Attorneys are arguing over a summary that will be shared with the jury. The judge ruled that the summary would be considered evidence in the case. Lead prosecutor Georgia Cappleman estimates it could take six to seven days to present the state’s case. Potential jurors are expected to report 9/17/24 Tuesday morning & attorneys estimate it could take two to three days to pick a jury in this case.

9/17/24 Tuesday, Jury selection Day 1: Discussion about Charles' being called as witness by State. Jury seleciton on hold. Charles' new attorney Niles will meet with Judge Everett at 1:30pm. The conflict of interest lies in Rashbaum represented Charlie & now his mother. Judge: If Charlie cannot be properly cross examined Donna has lost the right to effective representation and therefore we have an issue related to whether or not a new trial is merited. It is foolish to charge forward under the circumstances. Judge recessing until 1:15pm. He is releasing any potential jurors that have shown up this morning. He said IF jury selection is to begin he will have a new group at 1:15pm. Judge is recessing to give Donna Adelson time to speak to 3rd party counsel.

Judge speaking to Donna Adelson. She waives any issue on a future appeal regarding Charlie's cross exam. Judge going to do more research on if this waiver is sufficient. Adjourned until 1:15. Potential jurors will report at 2pm IF judge allows jury selection to go forward.

Defense attorney Rashbaum moves to withdraw from the case citing unable to obtain a new waiver from Charles’ appellate counsel. Defense attorney Alex Morris wants to 'regroup'. Judge Everett says case continued. The costs to be charged to defendant. In camera meeting Everett & Morris is now going to happen. Co-counsel Alex Morris is not prepared to take over as lead counsel & judge is granting continuance. Case management hearing to be scheduled on 10/15/24 @ 2:30pm. Jurors will be released.

(Athena was found on Jan. 17, 2023 in Rush Springs, Grady County property in a backpack; LE found out that she had been beaten & died on Dec. 25, 2022 from Alysia’s interrogation; Id’d on Jan. 26, 2023) - *Alysia Adina Adams aka Alysia Adina Galvan (31/now 32) arrested (1/12/23), charged (1/17/23) & arraigned (3/13/24) with 2 counts of child neglect – one for failing to supervise Athena's sister & another for failing to protect Athena from her husband’s physical abuse. *Trial continues (Day 31) (@ 9am CET) – Germany/Portugal - Hazel Behan (20 @ time/now 40) (in her home, June 16, 2004, Praia de Rocha on the Algarve coast, 10 miles from Praia de Luz, Portimao, Portugal) - *Christian Stefan Brückner (Bruekner) (27 @ time of 1st crime (2004)/45/now 47) charged (Oct. 11, 2022) with sexual assault (suspect held a knife & brutally raped her. The accused then tied & gagged the woman to a table & raped her again. He then whipped the victim on the back with a whip he had brought with him & finally forcibly performed oral sex with the victim. The accused filmed large parts of the events with a video camera he had brought with him). Braunschweig Regional District Court
Germany/Portugal – *Charged (Oct. 11, 2022) & arrest warrant reinstated 11/18/22 - a 14 year old teenager (unknown victim) (on tape: assaulted/hit the naked girl with a whip. Said to have brutally forced the girl to have oral sex. The accused also videotaped this act). Took place between Dec. 28, 2000 to April 8, 2006 on the Praia da Luz, Algarve coast, Portugal.
Germany/Portugal - *Charged (Oct. 11, 2022) & arrest warrant reinstated 11/18/22 - an elderly woman 70-80 yrs old (unknown victim) a Tour Rep (tied up & raped the victim in her holiday apt. He then hit the victim several times with a whip. The accused is said to have recorded the entire event with a video camera). Took place around the same time (between Dec. 28, 2000 to April 8, 2006) on the Praia de Luz, Algarve coast, Portugal.
Germany/Portugal – *Charged (Oct. 11, 2022) & arrest warrant reinstated 11/18/22 - 10 year old German girl (Joana E.) (wearing only shoes & otherwise naked. He grabbed the child's wrist & began to perform masturbation movements on his naked penis). On Salema (Zalema) beach, near Praia de Luz, Portugal, April 7, 2007).
Germany/Portugal – *Charged (Oct. 11, 2022) & arrest warrant reinstated 11/18/22 – Ines VP (11 year old Portuguese girl) (pulled down his trousers & underpants & made masturbation movements on his naked penis in order to sexually arouse himself, until the frightened girl ran to her father for help. The suspect was arrested on the spot by the Portuguese police). Exposed himself in playpark, São Bartolomeu de Messines, June 11, 2017).
Trial began on February 16, 2024. (And continued on Feb. 23rd, Mar. 1st & 14th, Apr. 2nd, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th & 26th, May 2nd, 15th, 166th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th & June 4th & 5th & 28th, July 5th, August 5th, 15th, Sept. 5th).

September 6, 2024 Friday, Day 30: A former fellow prisoner is to be heard as a witness by Christian B. The Criminal Chamber will probably comply with a corresponding request from the public prosecutor's office, announced the presiding judge in the Braunschweig Regional Court. The prosecutors had requested the interrogation of the man the day before because the defendant in prison is said to have talked to him about several rapes in Portugal. According to the court's previous planning, the man could be heard by the criminal chamber at the end of September & thus become one of the last witnesses in the proceedings. With regard to the possible witness, the question of his credibility should be in the center. The probative value of narratives behind bars is also likely to be questioned above all by the defense. As one of the final points for the proceedings, Dr. Christian Riedemann, a forensic psychiatrist , gave evidence today & is to continue on the next date 25th Sept, also the court have granted the wish of the prosecution to hear the ex con. The witness first gave general terms such as pedophilia, sadism & masochism. He has not yet established any connection with the accused. A brief summary, CB refused to see the doctor, he could only go by case files, because of his heterosexual relationships he would not describe CB with a sexual sadism disorder nor a core paedophile.
The next continuation date is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2024, @ 9am. Dr. Riedemann will return to the stand.

9/24/24 Tuesday, Bench Trial Day 7: Closing arguments began early Tuesday afternoon by Berks Assistant DA K. Kenneth Brown & defense attorney Dennis Charles. Judge M. Theresa Johnson found Snyder guilty of 2 counts of first-degree murder, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of children & one count of tampering with evidence in the 2019 hanging of the children, ages 8 & 4.

3/25/24 Update: The trial was set to begin Monday for Tanya & Leon Tripp, but it’s been delayed. Leon Tripp & Tanya Tripp are both charged with malice murder in the death of LaTania Janell Carwell. The trial was set to start Monday, but a bond hearing was called at 10am on 3/25/24. The hearing focused on a legal motion that must be dealt with before the trial can begin. A judge ordered last week for some of Leon Tripp’s statements to be removed & prosecutors appealed that to the Georgia Supreme Court. There won’t be a trial until the Supreme Court issues a decision. The defense pushed Monday for bond to be granted for the Tripps during the waiting period, but the judge denied that request.

5/24/24 Update: The long-awaited trial for the couple was set to start on 3/25/24 but it was put on hold as the Augusta DA’s office appealed a recent decision to exclude statements made by defendant Leon Tripp. The DA’s Special Victims Unit is fighting for justice for Janell. Last week, the trial court ruled that statements made by Defendant Leon Tripp should be excluded from evidence. The following day, we filed an appeal of that decision to the Supreme Court of Georgia. Trial will not commence until the Supreme Court issues a ruling. Our highest priority is presenting the strongest case possible & ensuring justice for our community,” Augusta DA Jared Williams said in a statement in reaction to the ruling. The Georgia Supreme Court could take months to issue a ruling on the prosecution’s appeal & defense attorneys for Leon & Tanya requested a bail reduction in March so their clients could return home. Their bonds reportedly are set at more than $500K each. Both have been jailed for seven years since their arrests. The judge, however, denied bond reductions for both, citing flight risk & a threat to the community.

Plead not guilty. $1M bond. Johnson County
