I adked hubby about how to start a car on fire.

He said it was easy. Hm. Whatever.

Anyway, first he said to hold a match to the tires.

I told him the bumper melted.

He said that it would be easy to squirt bbq lighter fluid all over thr bumper and take a match.

I think it would take a lot of guts to stand in that driveway and do it.

All I can do is hope something showed up on a camera.

I wonder why the neighbors noticed?

Loud whoosh! Smell?

there several on the market now in the neighborhood. Dont know if they were for sale on July 1st
first have not looked that far.
I found one interesting nearby. looking at the photos could be a place she was taken to, or one similar....This house for sell, has trash in it...and even shows a plastic bag hanging in the shower ........its located at

Ever since I was a child I can remember looking at problems or puzzles and trying to break them down in the most logical solution.

This just made sense to me.

Now, as an adult I learned about Occam's Razor. In the past I've banged on my keyboard quite a bit about this and I think Occam's Razor may indeed be useful in this situation.

Basically, Occam's Razor says when you are looking at a problem there's no need to make it more complicated than it already is. All things being equal, the most simple and obvious answer is usually the correct one.

The overhead map that was made where you can zoom in and see the tops of the garbage cans ect.. and then zoom out again is just an amazing tool.

Applying Occam's Razor to this map let's see what we have.

1). A heavily populated area. (compared to where I live).

2). Doesn't seem to be any dense woods in the immediate area, there's an open field and some trees but everything I find is very close to a house. Not much to give you privacy if you needed it.

3). Would a stranger to the area abduct a small child and then come back into that area to dispose of the body?

Just some thoughts...

"Screaming" is also relative, and could be hyperbolic. Maybe she was calling out, but not yet yelling loud enough to be heard inside. :)

Is this the same lady who said Alanna always cried when she had to go inside? It angers me, that she'd say it like that, with the insinuation that accompanied it. When my daughter was six she was allowed to play in the front yard as long as she didn't leave it, and she'd argue, and cry, and sometimes throw herself to the ground for a full on tantrum when I made her come inside! It wasn't because anything was wrong at home, just that she loved playing outside, and never wanted to come in. (That started at a very early age too. When she was a toddler we had to install a chain lock on the front door to keep her from sneaking out on her own, and once she learned to drag a chair to the door, we had to start shoving the couch in front of it every night. I swear, most of my gray hairs are named after that girl.)

Anyway, once she was inside, we'd find something to distract her and it was fine. :)

I hope you were just jumping off my post. :scared: I was replying to the original post. I've been known to tune out a lot of things with my kids, including "calling out". My post wasn't meant to state it as fact that Alanna was "screaming". The article was MSM, but these people who are "reporting" things now, after the fact, should be taken with a box of salt. JMO

Sorry, the woman you mention is making you angry. I haven't read her blogs, nor do I do rumors well. That is why I like it here.

RSBM: Using the overhead feature, I am amazed at just how close these houses are to each other.

And the lots are only 5500 sq ft (average)

Perp doesn't need a timeline released in order to create an alibi. Perp already knows what the timeline is.
So it makes no sense for police to not release information (assuming they even know it).
They appear to be stumped.

Absolutely agree.

Here's another thing to add to this,

Just this week we had an incident with a fellow in town who's always been an oddball. I swear, I've known him 20 years and the man 'gets off' on causing a little trouble. Not much trouble but just enough to stir the hornet's nest.

This week he decided to target us. Not the first time but as I get older I just don't have the patience for it anymore, that and he purposely was staring down my 14 year old son.

The police were called and I have photos of this man to verify what he has been doing.

He had an answer for EVERYTHING he had been doing. I watched his body language and listened to his voice so closely and the answers came so quick to him, he wouldn't look the officer in the face when he would say why he was where he had been seen, his voice would drop and relax.
(as opposed to tighten and elevate like someone in stress or someone who has to think fast on the spot).

I KNEW he had these excuses already in his head just in case...

Just in case...

The weirdos are everywhere.

Wow. Don't they clean them up for a sale?

That is really cheap. Where I live, a house that was a meth house and identified as a meth house sold for $140,000 and it did not look as good this Texas one.

Is housing really inexpensive there? Is that house in a decent neighborhood?

I think that is a laundry closet, based on the appliance outlet. Not that it matters.....:seeya:

OK, here's an updated timeline again, hopefully containing only info that should be able to be posted and adding the tweet. A few items could use links for sources. If someone else wants to post a modified timeline, please re-insert the links from scratch (if you just copy the post, it will break the links).

Me too!

Looking at a regular old map with just the streets drawn on it doesn't do anything for me.

I'm addicted to Google Earth. SEEING the layout of the houses and what's in their back yard and how close ect...I was just amazed.

The house is trashed- carpets are gone, cupboards off hinges, etc. and probably a foreclosure

:please: Please stop going there and reading that crap. For a long time I was reading on facebook. Following a woman that I was convinced/and still am, that she was a fraud. She's involved in at least 20 fund raisers that she personally starts and when I wrote to her and asked her where the money goes she absolutely came unglued! So then, it was like I was obsessed every day with reading the posts and I would be so angry that people were following her stupid lies. Then one day I woke up and said WHY AM I DOING THIS??? It's not healthy! So now I never read there and I don't get angry because I can't see what's going on.

Life is way too short for the negative.

Our neighbor's kids are screamers. I mean seriously they SCREAM like their leg is caught in the lawn mower.

Sadly, this is where the story, 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' came from.

I've been tempted to purchase a nice copy and leave it in their mail box...but I digress...

Seeing other people's kids will make you appreciate your own.

The house in Texas looks like Architectural Digest compared to the former meth house by me, The neighbors were always calling the police. I forget how they got busted. It's been a few years.

Anyway, the reason I ask is if it is more of a transient, iffy neighborhood, people may not be paying as much attention to what goes on in their neighborhood. They don't want to know.

But, if it is a better neighborhood, people are more apt to pay attention.

Where I live, no one has brick houses as they are very expensive. Only the wealthy would have a brick house.

Thank you Thank you, Mitsana, for putting a timeline together. (Mods, any chance we can turn this into a sticky?)

By the way, If you click the "quote" button, the links will carry over. :)

I have added a link for the post in which LDhummingbird said,

Actually, we left shortly after noon. We ran a couple of errands along the way.
