It hurts my heart so bad that this case has not gotten more attention, I first hearf of this case from Mickey's thread. I have a 16 year old daughter and I dont know that I could be as strong as these parents are.Even if BL is not connected to Ali I pray that this will bring renewed intrest in her case and spark a fire under LE's a??!!!!

WOW! When did Ali go missing? What was the date his home burned down? When was his other truck/vehicle burned?
There surely would be police/insurance reports.

It sure seems BS Lavergne likes to destroy evidence. He possibly could have brought Ali back to his house.

@Jlowitzer- Prayers from Louisiana for you and your family are being sent. WhatsupAZ's last post expressed what all of us, here, feel. I am fairly certain that the same united effort that Acadiana made in bringing Mickey home (via social networking) will be extended to you and your family in finding Ali.
I am brainstorming as I type, and fellow WS members jump in with suggestions. The first lead in the Mickey case came on 5-26(?) from Adam4LSU on TigerDroppings (an LSU social network). Adam had seen the still shot of BSL's truck, made the connection, and posted b/c BSL dated his s-i-l. Has Adam been contacted? He truly "got the ball rolling". And, in spite of being "shot down" repeatedly by TD posters and the many inferences that he was a "nut", he persisted until he got LE's attention. The second lead in the case, and the one that "did him in", came from BSL's dear half sis. Kudoos to you, young lady, for your courage to do the right thing. You and Adam are to be commended! And for the ppl who raised ya'll, kudos to them, also, for instilling your values and morals.
With that said, I have read and read, made notes, and cross-referenced many forums until my eyes are crossing. As this is my first post, I'm a bit reluctant to post my observations. If anyone cares to be a sounding board, please PM me. Then, after things are sorted, I'll publicly post.
As to a disclaimer that I am also a "nut"- I'm very recently retired and somewhat bored. In addition to that, I worked in the parish that BSL is from, I live in the parish where Mickey was found, and I have a UL-L daughter. Also I'm angry that BSL has terrorized Acadiana. Thank you

Possibly Sacalait, but imo BS Lavergne had a distinct pattern of utilizing jurisdictional linkage blindness. Although travelling great distances in a desperate attempt to cover his tracks in the Mickey Schunick abduction/murder. BSL, would have not likely risked being pulled over in broad daylight due to a routine traffic stop, with a victim in the truck.

Imo, if BSL has unknown victims in Texas. They will be located in an adjacent LE Jurisdiction from where they were abducted.

Due to BS Lavergne’s obvious traits of psychopathic tendencies and escalating deviant behavior, I am confident that, if a competent and complete investigation is conducted, there will be many unknown victims revealed.

BSL, was very calculating, deflective, creative, and manipulative. He had honed his skills for over a decade, & possibly two, imo. BSL, used multiple ruses during & after the Mickey Shunick abduction and had perfected the use of jurisdictional linkage blindness. He was brought down due to an aware public’s tips.

"The only tool that Law Enforcement possesses to combat jurisdictional linkage blindness is the American public via the MS Media"..

BSL's Pattern of utilizing LE(law enforcement) jurisdictional linkage blindness:

BSL’s Home – 1st LE Jurisdiction

MS Abduction – 2nd LE Jurisdiction

Bike Disposal – 3rd LE Jurisdiction

Hospital NOLA – 4th LE Jurisdiction

Opelousas General – 5th LE Jurisdiction

Stolen DW Truck Report – 6th LE Jurisdiction -Texas

Burned/Stripped DW Truck – 7th LE Jurisdiction – Texas

Mickey Shunick’s remains located – 8th Jurisdiction LA

Brandon Scott Lavergne, is also forensically aware

Hello. I just wanted to say hi ans thank you to everyone here for helping. I have never blogged before so I'm not really sure how to navigate around here. I'm lucky I found this page :)

Hope for Ali
Welcome to WS! :) I am so sorry that your Ali is still missing. I'm sure that everyone here at WS has hope that Ali will be found safe.

Many WSers have followed Ali's case. We only see the posts; lots more are reading w/o posting (and keep coming back to check for news).

I'm grateful to flowerlady for "carrying Ali's torch" and relentlessly "bumping" Ali's thread (bumping means posting in a thread/topic, which makes a thread "pop" to the ever-changing top of its forum, and show up in Subscriptions and UserCP). It's one way of never forgetting, even in a dearth of clues or recent news (which has been so very frustrating).

C. Paul Phelps Correctional Center does not offer a work release program... And BS Lavergne was there until September 2005. He was then transferred to Avoyelles Correctional Center, which does offer a work related program. So, apparently if he did any work release it would've been after Sept. 2005

Avoyelles Correctional Center Work release Program

Certain eligible offenders may enter a traditional work release center from six (6) months to three (3) years prior to release from incarceration, depending on the offense of conviction. Offenders who are approved for work release are required to work at an approved job and, when not working, they must return to the structured environment of the assigned work release facility. Probation and Parole Officers are assigned monitoring responsibilities for contract work release facilities. This may include conducting random drug screens and random shakedowns of the facility. Additionally, the Probation and Parole Officer is part of the Auditing Teams that conduct annual audit of work release facilities. Work release programs are successful in assisting an offender with making the transition from prison back into the work force. Approximately 10 to 20 percent of offenders remain with their employer upon release. The work release program is also utilized as a valuable alternative for technical parole violators, in lieu of returning them to prison.

It would be a huge favor to everyone if someone in law enforcement or someone who knew how to check records could once and for all tell us EXACTLY what dates he was locked up (I mean BEHIND wires, in jail, not 12 inches past the GATE) so that we could rule in or rule out murders he may have committed. I have a few cases that look like his handiwork, but I can never get past the question Was he or was he not incarcerated on this or that date. I think this is a very important parameter to establish once and for all. The thing that bugs me also is that how in the heck was he buying and selling vehicles while he was in prison? That makes no sense. The only way it makes sense is if perhaps he was using his own credit/social security number to buy vehicles for somebody else who did not want the vehicles in their name for whatever reason. Somebody pointed out to me that sometimes prisoners will do this because the prisoner has better credit rating than the other person (which is pretty darn sad). Anyway, I will nto believe he was in prison (behind the wire 100% of the day) if he bought or sold a car on a certain date. To me that indicates he was out and about.

I was only speculating. Does anyone know Ali's relationship with her mother. Could have BS Lavergne "sweet talked" her into his truck and taken her like he did Lisa for a few days of "extra curricular" activities? Don't mean to insinuate anything about Ali's family life, I'm not familiar with her. If she had a good family life, then I mean no disrespect. If something would have "gone down" at BS's house like it did in his truck, evidence had to be destroyed. Was the house in his name? Was it "his" home? Did he owe a lot on it? Was this insurance fraud? Why destroy a home to live in a trailer?

I think that if we are going to speculate that BSL is responsible for taking Ali that afternoon then there is no need to speculate "why" or "how". Jmo

I agree, WhatsupAZ.. BSL was very calculating, deflective, creative, manipulative, and violent. By using the very rare MO of the bump & grab of a bicyclist, in the abduction of Mickey Shunick. This would indicate that he used various abduction methods to snare his victims.

By his own admission BSL possessed a firearm as well as a lethal knife. A knife, being much smaller than a firearm is much easier to conceal. Especially when the predator is a convicted felon, as was BSL. Studies have shown that a knife actually instills more fear in an abduction victim, than does a firearm. Obviously, both methods are very effective to gain the victim's compliance, imo.

If witness accounts are correct, the probable MO in Ali's abduction to gain compliance was accomplished by the threat of the suspected predator's knife or firearm.

Ali had a great loving relationship with her parents and happy home life. She was excited about her job and was preparing for a birthday party that she helped plan. She had a boyfriend. There is NO WAY that monster could have "sweet talked" her into leaving with him. However he may have been able to talk her into giving her a ride down to the Burger Barn :(

I've contacted the MS Media, and requested them to verify BS Lavergne's 2006-2008 info from the LA Dept of Corrections. I doubt if they are going to freely release this info due to the obvious political & legal ramification$, if unknown victims are discovered during the time BSL was on work release, the backlash and consequences could be very severe for those responsible for monitoring him. jmho.

Imo, the 2003 glowing letter written by the Prison Warden, due to BSL's effective rehab ruse was instrumental in his early work release privileges in 2006..

As was BSL's RSO status recently updated to include the injuries received by Mighty Mick on 05/19/2012. Although his quarterly RSO evaluation was conducted on 05/28/2012. BSL's RSO status info was ran, post July 05, 2012. The injuries were not included in the report at that time.
After researching missing persons investigations for years. One common denominator is that after an investigation is complete. Many agencies will later attempt to cover their tracks, imo.

Lavergne was transferred from Phelps to Avoyelles Parish Corr. Center. From there he was released to a halfway house in Broussard, Louisiana called Service Mechanic Power House Compression Services. He was there from 2006 to 2008 at which time he was released on what is called “goodtime/parole supervision.” Under this law, Lavergne was not eligible for “straight” parole (a privilege available after serving one-third of sentence).

Goodtime in Louisiana requires all inmates to serve 85% of their sentence at which time they are automatically released but with the condition that the remainder of their sentence be served under parole supervision. Phelps has a pre-release program conducted within the prison during the 90 days before an inmate’s release.
The institution does not release inmates directly to halfway houses. Instead it will transfer the inmate to another prison that does, such as the ACC. Inmates at halfway houses are under strict curfews. They are permitted to work in the community but must return to facility at certain times.

Most sex offenders do have electronic ankle bracelets. Halfway houses are more strict in its rules enforcement than prison. Hope this information helps. Thank you for your interest.

Here's the website for Powerhouse Compression Services in Broussard, LA.

BS may be giving us some insight into the workings of the prison system and also providing information regarding his knowledge of and contact with BSL, but IMO we need to be careful not to consider this information as fact. He is not MSM or LE or a verified insider. He is an author currently promoting his new book.

To say that BSL went to a halfway house in Broussard called Power House Compression Services is IMO inaccurate, and therefore hurts BS's credibilty.

I need some help in planning a photo/video trip to that area. I need to know places that peeps on here would like photos of. I personally would like:
1. Photo of Burger Barn.
2. Photo of the place where the white truck was seen stopped.
3. Someone to provide a google aerial with location of Ali's home, Burger Barn, where white truck was stopped, where bus dropped her off
4. Location of where BSL was staying on the day Ali was kidnapped
5. Closest cemetaries to Burger Barn

I am not very good with Google maps, so I need help with that.

If someone else can provide photos in that area -- that would be great.

I know that this is not a psychic site, but there are psychics on here and photos are extremely helpful to them.

I truly hope answers are found now and Ali is brought back to her family and friends.

I'm a local. I would completely rule out any of the Klein cemeteries. They are well-lit, well-traveled/visited and out in the open usually on main roads.
