We've learned new details since we first told you about Angela's disappearance earlier this month.
Houston police are investigating the case and they now believe Angela's last known location was on Park Place Boulevard near Galveston Road.

According to the family, Diaz's boyfriend said he dropped her off at the Moonlight Inn & Suites on the Gulf Freeway around on June 30 to meet with another man.
"Why did he leave [his] girlfriend to another man’s hands? For what reason?" Yesenia asked. "Because of right now, I do not know that answer."
HPD said they have interviewed multiple people, including a male acquaintance who saw Angela on the night she went missing.
Her family said they also tried to speak with the man.

In this week’s "Missing in Houston," we highlight the case of Angela Marisol Diaz, a 23-year-old woman who has been missing since July 1, 2024.

“We have done everything in our power to find her, from speaking to multiple news channels to hiring a private investigator, but she is still missing,” Edward shared.

According to her family, Angela’s phone was last tracked to a wooded area behind the Fitness Connection off I-10 East just a few days after she was reported missing.

Her boyfriend reported that she was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on Monday at the Moonlight Inn and Suites along Gulf Freeway, where she was supposed to meet someone. However, her phone’s last known location was near the wooded area, not the hotel.

“Angela always kept in touch, even if just to say she was okay. It’s terrifying that we haven’t heard from her at all,” Edward said, highlighting the unusual and alarming silence from his daughter. “I haven’t slept properly since she went missing. Every time the news reports about a body being found, my heart stops. I just want her to come home.”

This must be the wooded area behind the Fitness Connection of I20: it s a ca. 30 mins drive from the Moonlight Inn and Suites along Gulf Freeway

i hope the silence from LE in this case isn’t an indication of their effort to find Marisol. Her poor family seems so alone in their pleas for help to find her.

Maybe the family could get Texas Eqqusearch to help them? They are Texas based too. Tim Miller is such a great man who founded TES after his daughter Laura was abducted and killed. It really bugs me I'm not seeing that the wooded area and river behind the fitness center have been thoroughly searched. With her phone locating there and then turning off, she may have been put in the river.
