In his garage the whole time?! He can't possibly be that idiotic, right? I think it's been fairly obvious he was involved and it's a shame it took so long for the SW.

RIP Anne-Christine. That poor little boy :( I hope he has a lot of loving people in his life.

The shock is always shocking
He could have had her anywhere and when he felt the law was getting close he moved her but everyone is innocent until proven guilty.. We were not there and we do not know the detail.
I really hope the family knows that our hearts go out to them and not to take any discussions personally, we will be looking for answers and we are not perfect but we do care and we do have an interest or we wouldn't be here. We take our experience, knowledge and resources to try to help someone home and we are so curious.

So sad to read this. Such a beautiful woman. Loved by many as obvious by the Facebook page. My heart goes out to everyone who cares about her.

I don't think they searched his property before. They probably just got the warrants.

Agree. He was only named a POI yesterday.

So, where has their son been this whole time? SH had custody. Was their kid at home all this time with ACJ in the garage?

The thought makes me ill...

Oh no, how awful :( What a terrible tragedy, but but at least she has been found and hopefully justice will be done.

Beautiful Anne Christine~ I am so sorry for all who will miss you, especially your children.
I had an abusive X who lied and got custody of the children who he then used to punish me, I nearly died of a broken heart. It took me every ounce of strength I had and a three year fight to regain their custody. Twenty years later the pain of his abuse still exist upon the hearts of us all. These men are cruel and sick. jmo

I'm surprised we have not heard he was arrested yet.

IDK about their son or where he is living. Sick to think he could have been living in the house with his mom's corpse in the garage for weeks.

Another report:
LEAGUE CITY, TX (KTRK) --

League City police say they've found a body at the home of the ex-husband of a missing woman. Police were conducting a search warrant at the time. The body is pending positive identification.
Police have twice interviewed Johnson's ex-husband, Shaun Hardy, who was the last person reported to see her. He has been taken into custody and questioned.

How tragic for this family. I cannot fathom the tremendous pain that this has inflicted on this entire family FOREVER.

RIP beautiful lady. :rose:

The man was detained for questioning, police said at a press conference.

Stephanie Johnson, the mother of missing mom Anne-Christine Johnson, 30, said a woman's body was found wrapped in plastic in the home's garage.

This is so sad. It's been really warm here. I'm thinking he kept the body somewhere else for a bit of time. Maybe a freezer? <modsnip>

I agree! The homes in that area seem pretty close together. Aside from a brief cold spell, it's been warm. He may have had people over (especially considering Christmastime). Their son! Do they not use the garage at all? There are a million reasons why this makes no sense.

I think having her in his garage at any point shows that he was WAY too confident. Or he could tell they were zeroing in on him (duh!) and just gave up trying to hide her maybe? Makes me wonder if anyone else had knowledge of her body.
