Man charged with murder in case of missing woman appears in court

The man charged with murder in a missing woman's death appeared before a judge Wednesday.

The judge read conditions, including that Alex Haggerty have no contact with Brittany Burfield's family.

Haggerty was held in jail with no bond.

Outside of a confession that MSM is not aware of, they would have to have evidence of that (knife with her blood on it), bloodstain spatter analysis consistent with such injury or blood and and/or damage to her found clothing consistent with such a crime. Alex Haggarty and his attorney would love where this thread is going. Talk about reasonable doubt. She’s some lady who rang twenty doorbells in the middle of the night, then disappeared so he couldn’t have killed her.

I totally get what you are saying but if the prosecution can prove she was murdered beyond reasonable doubt then it shouldn't be an issue. They must have the evidence in some form or fashion to have brought the charges without finding her. And if by some minuscule, miraculous chance the unidentified woman ringing doorbells is her, it's more important to find her and the murder charges would be mistaken anyway. There have been 100s of suggestions for who the doorbell ringing woman may be, I don't think it being suggested as a possibility would ruin any case they have against AH.

The doorbelling ringing woman was located yesterday and there is no relation to Brittany's case. It was a domestic issue, and she lived in that neighborhood. Mystery doorbell-ringing woman in video is a victim of domestic violence, Texas cops say

Still hoping she can be located so her family can give her a proper burial. I can't imagine not having the remains of a deceased loved one to lay to rest.
