They brought benzick(?) to testify on the accuracy of the cell pings that the defense witness tried to disprove

They brought in a better expert witness, who told the jury the information the defense expert had conveniently failed to mention in his testimony. Adding "the rest of the story" basically refuted almost everything the defense witness was saying.

ETA - I can't believe they flew this defense expert in for that kind of tomfoolery. But it also says a lot about where they are in this case, since that's the best they have to offer.

So, incomplete.

And misleading. What the defense expert mapped was the irrelevant info (only) with no reference to any 4G towers at all, but the state had relied on only the places where the data rolled off into connecting to the 4G - which is what gives the geographical locator. The defense expert in essence had ignored everything that was accurate, and only talked about the less reliable stuff that the state wasn't even using, trying to mix the two together and confuse the jury. State rebuttal totally pantsed him.
