A verified insider is someone that Administrators have personally talked with and vetted. They are allowed to post "inside" info without a link. Each member must determine for themselves how much weight to give that "inside" info. You can believe it or not. You can believe 1/2 of it or none of it or all of it. That's okay. But a VI may post without links.

If you have further questions, please pm a Mod. Coldpizza, Imamaze or myself are your main mods in this case and we are here to help.

Thanks,

Salem

I tried to search in the FAQs for what a verified insider could/couldn't say so I wouldn't reply with quote on something naughty and get a spanking. Couldn't find anything. Help anyone?

As far as HF goes, imo I do not believe he is responsible for her disappearance based on what I have read and seen.

But the public is not allowed to know the reasons why HF isn't suspicious in some peoples' eyes.
Why would knowing HF's alibi jeopardize the case? Why didn't HF tell, during his odd behavior interview, where he was Saturday morning, when he realized Christina had reached out to him, why he didn't respond to her?

It makes no sense, why HF's details - proof he's telling the truth - need to remain secret.
No one will comment on the reasons or details for why HF didn't respond or report, why not?

Driving me nuts - irrational imo.

Thanks Happyshoes and Salem. Helpful indeed. I would have asked CD more questions if not for the fear of the modspank. (Kidding).

What good are verified insiders when they can't comment on anything anyway?
I really don't get the point when we ask this and that and the response is always, "no", "don't know", "can't say" ~
just that we're hurting feelings and not supportive of the victim which is never the purpose here.

Actually, Carltondance did verify some things for me; but at first, I was frustrated with the responses, too. It's like "well, what CAN we ask?". When I first watched the EA interview, I was trying to see things from his point of view - if he didn't have anything to do with this, his whole world was coming down around him - then I got criticized for "playing violins" for him. And told in a roundabout way that I (or we) weren't showing support for CM. I agree with you that the purpose we are all here is because we care about the victim.

IMO based on what I have read and seen.... I am sorry if my own opinions do not mesh with yours

VI's answer the questions that they can and give info that they can give. If you don't appreciate their efforts, you don't have to read their posts. Just like you don't have to believe what they say, if you choose not too.

But, almost always, we have seen verified insiders to be very valuable to many of our cases on here. There purpose is to share, not interfere with an investigation.

See, I don't understand why they have to be mutually exclusive. Why can't we consider that EA may not know as much as people thinks he does, or "playing violins" for him with the idea he really may NOT have had anything to do with Christina's disappearance, and yet still care about Christina and what happened to her and wanting to find out what happened to her. Why isn't there room for both?

I mean I don't know EA from Adam, so I don't know what he knows, what he doesn't. I don't know if he's more involved or if he's not. I just keep thinking that IF he is not, then he is going through his own hard time right now, being threatened with death, losing him job, being picketed, etc.

And I came here because a young lady is missing. She was out for a night of fun with people she went to school with and she disappeared, she didn't return home. She has a family, she has brothers and parents that love her, that miss her and that are terrified right now about what could have happened to her. We are trying to find out where she could be and who is involved in his disappearance. That's why we are here. It's not about defending anyone or not, it's about getting to the bottom of it. If EA had nothing to do with it, look how much time we have wasted on him when it could be spent getting to the truth.

I just don't want to put all my eggs in one basket on this quest. There are other options. It seems like there are a lot more secrets in this case, a lot more things that went on that currently we aren't privy to. There is a whole lot we can't talk about but it doesn't mean the truth isn't in that part of the story. Just because MSM has brought in one faction we can talk about, it doesn't mean it's THE part of this puzzle we need to bring Christina home. KWIM???

Respectfully disagree. I think he gave a ton of good info today. I think the frustration comes from lack of info provided in general about this case.

Thanks saint girl,
Every question given to me I must clear before answering, so its not me trying to be a jerk or anything of that nature. There is an ongoing investigation that we must be very mindful of and the last thing I want is to be the person who screwed it up.

I want to make sure we're clear here -- everybody gets their own opinion and it is okay to voice it. It is not okay to be disrespectful to one another or to bash another's opinion. You may play all the violins you want for EA as long as you allow others to voice their concerns about him.

The point is not to have a one sided view, it is to explore the possibilities and ideas, in an effort to help bring Christina home. Christina is the victim and she should be our focus.

I wonder. ...
How often HF turned off his phone or had a dead battery.
Was this common or was this a first?

I like when questions are rhetorical. In other words, we know phone analysis can reveal the answer.
The answer will be proven through analysis if LE is thorough.

I believe Carlton is a verified poster.

I was only asking for a link since word of this "altercation" had been posted on an astrology blog. Since that's not considered fact, I thought that maybe the Star News reporter had posted something from her interview giving evidence that this was true.

In that case, good to know, can't wait to read what he's provided. Haven't read all the new posts today.
Yesterday, I read can't reveal or I don't knows - referring to posts in general (not one poster).

Yes, I understand being objective. I clearly stated that I was trying to put myself in EA's shoes. Anyway, it's all good. We all care for this young lady who must have gone out thinking she was among friends - but maybe she wasn't. I think it was a productive day and I have confidence in LE. More prayers needed...

I'm sorry for sounding a bit harsh. It depends. Sometimes I'm uncomfortable, can't explain why and doesn't really matter. I'll do as you say but am I allowed my own voice as long as I'm not name calling or purposely offending anybody?

I really hope there is a resolution soon. I feel so sad for all involved. Especially Jonni. Every time I see her on the news I get a little teary. It's hard to imagine what they are going through.

Yes as long as it is respectful.
