Your correct .. you can not technically OD on MDMA... But here is the cause of death while 'Raving"
Most MDMA related deaths result from overheating, however there are deaths caused by drinking TOO much water too, as ADH is released so you dilute your blood plasma to dangerous levels. This can cause blood clotting issues, and hyperthermia is still an issue. Rhabdomyolysis (breakdown of muscles) can be caused by hyperthermia, and results in an inbalenceof sodium levels. Depleted sodium levels can result in cerebral edema (swelling of the brain), seizures, and increased cardiac workload.-Cardiac Arrest

CM has a Bachelor of Science degree from UT Dallas and an Associates of Art degree from Collin County Community College. She put herself through college, too.
Le has disclosed very little. It's possible they know CM was going to buy something. Whether someone was going to bring something to her or she was going somewhere to purchase is not something they would divulge. JMO I think those who say not bf or abductor think it was a drug overdose or a drug purchase gone bad.
I keep hearing (in my head) the line, "It's this late, might as well stay up," with regard to the time frame. Although, I do agree it seems terribly late. But if she was already kind of keyed up, maybe to her it wasn't late at all. It's just too odd that she would vaporize with no sign.
It seems late to us, but people really don't get to the bars anymore until around midnight. They usually close at 2 and then often they go eat breakfast, go to a casino, drive around and talk or maybe stalk to see if someone is really where they say they are? Just brainstorming here.....no scientific proof, possibly I've been guilty of all of the above answer choices.

Oh you can not be that old.... I am a old granny now myself ... but not too old to still remember classic rock and new wave from late 70's early 80's
My thoughts exactly.
I can't think of one drug that does not make you feel that way. But they have to be aware enough to realize it is a fake happiness and it can kill you. The more they do it the more they want. And according to the video the girl who died had about six drugs in her.
I think her mom and her friends probably ID'd her. I've heard my own mother say my daughter walks just like me. And I do realize the mention of drug use raises issues. I think we are just trying to make sense of something we can't and so we just relate what we do know to our own circumstances or knowledge base to try to figure it all out!
If there was a drug overdose, then she had it with the guy that walked her to garage. Remember, her car never left the garage.
I think the whole drug overdose thing is way out of line here. She is dead and someone killed her.
A AA from quad C and a BS from UTD - in what? OK - great - what does that mean...? And you know she paid for her college - how???
Guess your head never ended up in a toilet then - :blushing: :shame:
Those were the days my friend (I'm sure glad they came to an end!).
I am from Plano, Texas. Currently I am deployed on an overseas assignment, but I’ve lived there since 2006. A point of concern I would like to address is that the Plano Police Department are very inexperienced in these types of cases. Plano is one of the safest cities in the United States, and has been consistently ranked as so for the past few years. Homicides and kidnappings are not normal.
NBCDFW reported that Plano P.D. wanted to remind the public about their Rewards for Tips program. I think this indicates that they are not making progress in the investigation.
