Very interesting...and it did seem that Christina's mom was much more forgiving of her boyfriend's failure to report her missing than she was with the idea that the walker failed to walk her to her car. In my opinion, she has seemed more perturbed with the walker than anyone throughout this whole ordeal. I wonder if in her heart (and off the record) that's who she suspects?

I haven't spoken to the family directly. However the searchers I've talked to tend to lean this way.
Then again that is natural considering he was the last with her. What a mess that would be for him if he just went home for the night.

I'm still not sold on the idea of Walker as perp. The surveillence vid is just too casual. Open-body stride. No over the shoulder glances, no visual/physical signs of premeditated... anything, really...
Nothing menacing.
Nothing to indicate romantic advances.

Yes always that possibility . perhaps she waited for who ever not at her car but sat on the steps at the stairwell waiting???

If this is true she would have had to make arrangements with someone in person that night, or by phone or text. If by phone or text, wouldn't LE be able to get this info quite easily.

I don't understand the hang up. LE should know who it was unless it was a stranger. If that were the case they'd have his pic all over the news.

I have to back track, but, didn't LE say that walker was questioned and cooperated?
Not that THAT means anything. I know.

This! Why say this? If LE had any interest in EA...why would they say this?

She was last seen on surveillance video around 4:00 AM at The Shops at Legacy in Plano, Texas, with a male friend. The pair was recorded walking into a parking garage together, before going to their respective cars. Christina’s silver Toyota Celica was later found nearby. Police say that despite being the last person seen with her before she disappeared, Christina’s friend has been very cooperative and is not considered a suspect.

The only reason would be to get him to relax. To think the spotlight isn't on him.
Or it's just true n

Right when I'm beginning to convince myself it's him you go and post this Ha
Good points. He seems very neutral when they walk as if he got stuck leaving at the same time.

Then again I'm still stuck on the OD theory. That it's not a murderer but she hangs with someone, she OD's, and he panics and dumps her body.

Had a friend years back who met a guy and were doing OxyContin together. She mixes other drugs and drink and dies. Next evening her mother finally figures out where her daughter was and with whom and knocks on this guys door. This guy has been sitting in a house with my dead friend for almost 24 hours. I suspect if her mother hadn't arrived he would have dumped her body.

Worst funeral I've ever been to

It is truly scary how easy it is to OD. So many friends through the years... and even something as innocuous as a couple of drinks and a benzo for anxiety... on such a tiny girl, it wouldn't take much. The worst part is, once you are under the influence of one or the other, it clouds your judgment and memory, leaving you open/willing toward the other possibility...

My official position remains steady-- if there was foul play, it happened AFTER an accidental [something].

What the 'something' is, I am not sure...

I do not believe she died accidentally and there was a cover up. She was walking along, looked fine to me, last she was seen, and her escort did not appear overly interested in her to me. If they walk out of sight, she points up toward her car and says "go ahead, I'm fine" to him, and he did, she was most likely abducted by an unknown person. Maybe right there by her car but not on camera or maybe she started to walk back to the apartment when she knew her key was not in her car. I am not sure we will ever know.

Can't you picture it? Even out of love and best intentions--
"You're sad. You're stressed. You need to rest. Here, take one of my [xanax, valium, klonopin, etc.] You'll feel better."

IMO, IMO.

If I were issuing the warrants, my first round of requests would be the rx collection of the circle of friends (and with the DEA for rx records.)

I've mixed benzos and alcohol, been black-out messed-up, and still somehow functioned to do some pretty poor decision making, based on the surroundings and reports from others in the morning.

In the moment, nobody knew I was in black-out zone-- they thought I was fine, just a little tipsy and impulsive.

But I had ZERO memories of the events.

Scary.

I think I change my mind daily. It's such an odd case. I think that's what has my attention. Because of the strangeness of it all. That, and it's close to home. I have friends that live at the shops. Most are female and it really bothers me they that this could have been them. They are night owls like me, and I'm sure never once thought the garage there was dangerous.

I remember being interested in this case because if that. And as time passed and she still wasn't found I thought it was so odd. I guess it's because you'd think they would have a dozen camera angles.

Once I realized that practically nobody was even searching anymore, that's when I asked myself what am I doing. I could maybe once in life go out of my way to help a perfect stranger. Because if this were my loved ones I'd want help. It still bothers me that so few are searching. I don't get it. Where are her friends? Where are her neighbors? Her classmates?

Sick *advertiser censored* needs to be shot when they catch him.
And they will catch him.

In regards to the two previous posts (no clue how to multi quote), that's what makes this case so wild. The idea that we don't even know if it's a stranger or not. I'm hoping it's a friend because if not it means we have a sick individual on the loose.

My guess is if she did OD it was after leaving. Maybe she had some stuff in her system....drugs or alcohol and was fine. But then added something stronger to it after. Maybe at persons house. She died and he panicked.

Where are her family supposed to be searching? LE and TES did the close-by stuff...maybe her family has searched in FW and along the roads leading there already, maybe LE has also. They wouldn't necessarily announce it. I wouldn't have any idea where to begin.

I don't mean to sound critical because I'm not. Maybe I mis worded it. The family IS searching. Don't think I said the family wasn't. They are. But they have such little help. A handful at best. I don't understand that. I think there are enough clues to at least try some spots. If it were my family I'd search everywhere again too. But they can't do that alone.

It Seemed that the energy died off after two weeks. I thought that was the biggest tragedy. What's great is it's picked up and people are searching again. And it's beautiful because most of the searchers are strangers. I've met them. They just want to help and are covering a lot of ground.

No clue where LE searched. But the family knows and I'd assume There are many more possible places.
Shoot, one could pick a dozen spots just by reading through this thread. With enough people you could canvas the entire city looking, and passing out flyers

Dunkin Donuts has a camera ..

Good Morning! Don't you peeps ever sleep? lol
You're right - we discussed this some time back. Had she kept on walking through the garage after she and her friend parted, she would have been picked up on the Dunkin Donuts or the bank camera, right?

Question if you know: Is there a grid somewhere that shows all the places that have been searched (by LE, TES, friends, etc.) and then is added to by independent searchers such as yourself? When you go search, does someone in authority know that area has been checked and can be marked off?

BBM

I believe phone data will be huge in finding CM and the perp. I hope.

O/T Question - when someone is arrested, does LE automatically release a Probable Cause Statement/Document? I have seen on other threads the minute someone is arrested, that information is available and on other threads where there is an arrest, there isn't. Does it depend on LE or the State it is in? Thanks anyone! :seeya:

Question: How unusual is it for an arrest to be made the day following a warrant being issued? How about if the warrant was issued for someone in a different county? I realize that it can happen with a fast timeline, but my initial thought is that it was done very quickly.
