Who ever parked that car didn't want it to be discovered too soon. Because they backed in. Hiding the license plate unless Texas has a mandatory front plate.

I am interested to know if any of the people we've discussed, including Crystal, had a habit of backing in. If someone was dumping the car, why would the person take the time to back in and park in a way that the plate was in perfect view. I've also been studying the picture of the parked Mercedes that was on the news vs an aerial view on google maps. The others cars parked near the Mercedes seem to be parked in a sloppy was ...possibly to try to park above the incoming flood. Although the parking spots do curve a bit along the grassy area, the Mercedes still appears to be nicely parked, likely within a space. I also find it odd that the person would dump a car right next to a gas station which most likely has cameras. Although I know this sounds a little far fetched, is it possibly Crystal met someone in the parking lot to sign papers, exchange papers, etc., and then was taken. Why not meet at the shell, I don't know. The car just doesn't seem like it was dumped. I don't know how to post pictures, but I'll try to figure it out and put in a new post.

Why is the boyfriend speaking as if he had been dating crystal for years?

Yeah, it makes me really uncomfortable for him to be presenting their relationship that way. It's weird. Especially since she's been divorced for just 2.5 months and was still living with her ex. Why is he trying so hard?

I would like to get another look at those security camera pics. Does anyone know if they are posted anywhere online?

ETA: Oh, duh. I just found them. Okay in those photos, it looks like there is sunshine coming through the windows. Am I seeing things?

I just can't stop trying to figure out the details with picking up the kids. School is cancelled, he says pick them up at PBP, so he takes his kids to work with him. No more texts like "where are you? We are here..." Then hours later a text about the dishwasher being delivered? It makes no sense. Did he just take the kids back home? If my husband didn't show up and I'm waiting with my kids at my office, I would be frantic. I certainly wouldn't send a casual text about appliances later in the day.

My current thoughts are either that Boyfriend got mad at Crystal because she told (speculation) him that things were going too fast and taking a "family cruise" with her kids was just too much, too quickly.

OR

Ex Husband got mad because she told him about the boyfriend and the cruise all at once and it was too much for him to handle. She was running out of time before that cruise was supposed to leave on the 31st, so her telling him about it is a possibility.

Does anyone know: If she and her ex both have iPhones and were messaging through iMessage, would there be any way to know how many texts were sent between them? Would the content of those texts be recoverable if they used iMessage instead of SMS. Hopefully her phone records yield some helpful information.

That's true and I guess we haven't heard about calls. Could they have talked on the phone to work out the details with the kids?

What are the cellphone while driving laws in Texas? I know some states require a bluetooth device to be used. Seems like it would be difficult to text and drive.

Here is one of the security pics and the billboard pic she texted the bf.

I'm still wondering if she was to meet ex at TH and he killed her there.

I would like to know why the boyfriend says (in the link I posted above) that he last texted with Crystal at 8:30, when the text I have seen clearly states it was 7:30?

I have to agree with Ashley Banfield now, having seen the advertising billboard that it doesn't seem like it would be nearly that dark at 7:25am.

That's a really good question! I can't believe I didn't notice that myself! The texts clearly show the last text she sent to him was at 7:27. She mentioned that there was no traffic. Could that be the text he was referring to when he said she texted him about the road conditions being good? Maybe whoever wrote the story got the time wrong, (that does happen) or he could have misspoke. Definitely something to keep looking at though. Phone records should clear up those questions.

Hmmm...Definitely looks sunny outside. Does anyone know why in the security videos (stills) she is wearing a black dress in one and a pink dress in the other? Has that been discussed?

They just passed the no texting law.

I guess it would depend on the city if ppl were allowed to talk on their phone while driving.

As a realtor in NY, it is very seldom that residential real estate is transacted at 7 am. Unless it is accomodating an out of town client or someone before they head into work for the day. Our lockboxes are electronic for the most part. Access is timed. They come preprogrammed to shut off from 9 pm to 8 am, so no one but the listing agent can get in the house. The only way to open them is with an ekey. Mine is on my cell phone. Her uncle could see when her ekey was last used. That is if they use them in Texas.

Imessages are not tracked since they use data/wifi and are not through the carrier. It uses up data on the plan but not cellular.

I believe there is a program LE has access to that can retrieve data history if they have one of the phones available.
