Welcome to Websleuths!
The voice was on my front porch! Just outside the front door. I still get chills when I think about it! Getting cameras put up this weekend!!

OT sorry - When I first read your post, I thought you meant that someone in your house said 'someone's here'. Whenever we say something like 'who's that?' or 'someone's here' our dogs immediately start crazy barking. If that was me I'd probably call 911! We have cameras and I still freak myself out reading scary books! Take care

Ugh I wonder why TM would say that. Really hope is wrong

Kind of a wild thing to say so early (as far as missing persons cases go) as people are often found months, even years later.

I did look at these reviews a few days ago but I don't recall seeing the review from Crystal on August 12th. Has it been on there or was it most recently added?

Look under "44 reviews not recommended"

One is on top of the other ..

Kind of odd for TM also. He's not usually so... pessimistic? He's usually pretty positive, especially at the beginning of a search.

I think they must have a lot of stuff combined that all points to her being deceased. Jmo

I get that but for TM to say he doubts they'll find her means something else entirely. That's not something I have ever seen him say.

TM does not think Crystal will ever be found.

What?! Why would he say that when there is no evidence of a crime according to the Sheriff?

Maybe she really did leave on her own and doesn't want to be found.

He was worried that if her body was near water the hurricane could have dragged her anywhere and would make it very hard to find her.

So who would the 3 POI be, we have to ask. IMO, an obsessed fan; eg BB, would be one.

Could BB have possibly driven to finally meet Crystal, hoping there was something there, and she rebuffed him? I wonder if the police have checked him out.

Maybe he stayed at the Motel 6.

Well, I've worked all my career at chemical plants owned by a huge, global corporation and we always had to back into parking spaces. This was supposedly because if there was an emergency evacuation it was considered more safe to pull out than risk running over someone by backing over them in the rush to evacuate the plant. I did this for over 26 years. It was mandatory.

Sorry. I'm not trying to say you're a liar. If you say that was the policy, then so be it. But I also trust my friend who has just as much experience. It's possible that you two were completely different lines of work, which would explain the discrepancy.

You are stating "the EX", do you really mean to say BF in your post?

Yes, oops. Thanks for pointing it out.

Who is BB?

I think lonetraveller was just pointing out that it's not that uncommon as companies do indeed demand employees park their vehicles in the "drive out" position in the parking lot.

Last place I worked it wasn't a request or suggestion...it was a rule.

Sigh ..

"Crystal is a huge part of the XJT (Express Jet) family..

With the blessing of Express Jet and United we are going to be able to wear yellow ribbons on our unifoms until Crystal is home. These ribbons will be available in all crew rooms soon"

That's a very real possibility I think. It is horrible to think what Crystal's two children must be going through asking for their Mom and worrying about her.
