I don't think he was the only one who didn't accept the fact it was truly over. She was taking a cruise with him, she obviously wanted him to go. If not she could have taken a girlfriend with her. She chose to stay with him and the kids at the house. She based a lot of decisions on keeping the family together, even if it was for appearances. I am not saying it's wrong, I am just saying that it seems she was just involved of the appearance of it not being over. Jmo

Or if you believe the Uncle she was afraid to leave or act any other way.

So most likely the kids didn't know what was up. Otherwise they ran the risk of letting the news slip. Surely your friend wasn't canceling dad out of a family trip and bringing the boyfriend of one month instead? This isn't normal behavior and it certainly isn't conducive to a solid co-parenting relationship.

It was certainly not the same situation as this one. And of course, you are entitled to your opinion. I don't feel like I have enough information to cast judgment, that's all. And yes, my friend's kids did know.

Another possible motive that has come to mind. Maybe the bf found out Crystal was still sleeping with her ex? I know if my boyfriend was living with his ex that would be my number one worry. I hope the police are also looking into if anyone took out a life insurance policy on Crystal. Also with all the weird cruise deaths of women I've heard about recently, maybe that angle should be looked into as well. Maybe there was a motive to throw Crystal overboard or cause her to go missing while on the ship, but they decided to do it earlier than usual with the hurricane happening!? Just a thought that came to mind. I wonder also if the bf had any shady dealings with jewelry in the past and possible thefts/fraud? I'm not sure how expensive the things he sells in his store are but I've heard of some jewelers being involved in insurance fraud/theft and that sort of thing.

He couldn't have known it by reading here because video was released the next day for Inside Edition and you could tell by the movement that he was videoing a video. That was well before it was mentioned here.

I do think he was here last night tho and was pretty quickly escorted out:biggrin:
