I was at this event. It was sad to hear that there are more than 90,000 missing people in Harris county alone. I am glad they are giving these families a chance to get their loved ones name out there and continue to raise awareness of their missing loved ones. Danielles parents are not alone in this and they were incredibly thankful for this opportunity. We will continue to search for her until she is found.

Still hoping she is found. Going on a year now with many unanswered questions and lack of coverage.

WHAT??? There is NO WAY that there are 90,000 people missing from Harris County. Please, give us a link to all 90,000 people missing.

I know there is a "missing persons" for profit industry, but that number is far, far beyond what even the for profit missing persons would publish.

It has been over one year that Danielle has been missing. Prayers for those that love her and for justice to come.

Does anyone know if the husband had a shop elsewhere or worked out of the home location? And were there any employees? Welding, correct?
Thank you

Another WS'r brought up DS when I posted this news link on another missing TX woman's thread so thought I'd share here as well.

Thanks Queenbea13 [emoji3]

1 hr 50 minutes. And she was not reported missing for what 2 or 3 days? Plenty of time to drive a little ways.

From QueenBea13's link:

Deputies found a headless body about 100 yards from the intersection of Berdoll Loop and Berdoll Lane. Three days later, during another sweep of the area, deputies located a skull.

I started to say Noooooo, not another headless body, but after reading "extended stages of decomposition" the head was probably carried off by rain or wildlife.

I don't believe DS was the victim of a serial killer, but here is an article I came across today:

10 American Serial Killers that are still out there

Here is one called the I-70 killer:

Interstate 70 runs along Indiana, Missouri and Kansas. In April and May of 1992, it was terrorized by one lone gunman. Six store clerks were shot, each having met their fate over a measly sum of money. Every clerk was a petite brunette, except for one man, who might've confused the killer with his pony tail. In the following two years, the same suspected serial murderer would strike Texas and kill two more. The I-70 Killer is still a ghost 24 years later.

While I open to any opinions, can I ask what was it that makes you feel it is a serial killer?

Oh no! I should not have posted the article about the serial killers. I definitely do not believe Danielle is a victim of a serial killer, but rather victim of domestic homicide. It's just when I read your article about the woman's remains found and the interest from all over the state in the identification of that lady, and the head not being found with the body...

Well, I am following a couple of cases with people who were found missing a head and no answers in those cases, my mind wandered to serial killers. Danielle was not a high-risk person, but it sounds from the article as if the woman they found could possibly be:

"If you don't want to report your loved one missing because it's common not to speak for three or four weeks, I understand that, but call us. These are the identifiers I have. My loved one had a tattoo or pierced ears, like that. Can you just rule it out, we just want to make sure because it will help us in the end,” said Jones."

It's sad. I will try to edit my post. :gaah: too late to edit!

No, it was my fault, after you replied I went back & read you original comment & now see you said you don't think it was a serial killer, my apologies. I shouldn't skim [emoji847]

Trying to be optimistic, I think LE is still watching him. Maybe he'll get drunk and start talking to someone. I wish there was an undercover woman detective who could try to get close to him and get information about Danielle. He's dangerous and violent! The poor kids!
