Eucalyptus,

Bond is set. She has to come up with $500,000. That would be pretty much impossible. She is still locked up and will probably be until this is all settled. He best hope is to have her charges reduced and have a more reasonable bail set.

She has an attorney who is very likely a court appointed one who she will not be required to pay. A first class attorney of her choosing who is experienced in First Degree Murder would cost over $100,000; probably beyond her or her family's means.

In the U.S., if you participate in a crime and that crime results in a death, you are guilty of first degree murder with the only penalties being The Death Penalty or Life. This is sometimes called "constructive murder". This apparently does not exist in the UK; I don't know about Australia. Crystal is in Big Trouble.

The District Attorney does not have to file murder charges however. If the defendant cooperates with the DA and testifies against other (this is called " turning States Evidence"), the charges may be reduced or dropped altogether. This is very likely how this case will go down.

George Ashford is no stranger to high-profile cases. Expect to hear from him in the media at some point.

I highly doubt all charges against Crystal will be dropped. She may very well plea out and have her charges reduced for a lighter sentence, given her cooperation. I do not see her walking city streets again anytime soon. MOO.

Ok I saw a pic of the ex and now I am certain it was her driving. She has a much more petite pointed profile. Remember at first people even thought the driver could be asian? This girl seems to fit the profile way better than CC IMO

Crystal is in Big Trouble.

Thanks kemo and Nandee63 for your patient explanations :)

I guess her best bet is to squeal on everybody if it really went down like she said...so I really don't think it will be long until this thing plays out fully because surely a lawyer would be advising her to spill. Unless, of course, she was in the Cherokee alone...seems it's OK to kick around this old can of worms again ;)

What a bunch of fools!!! Do people not stop and think before they act? At least the ex was smart enough not to use her own car. Too bad she didn't think about cameras in the garage.

Dumb and Dumber criminals suit me just fine. :D The more mistakes the better. Keep 'em coming. What I can't believe is that they talked so quickly. Even Jodi Arias came up with the ninjas story despite the evidence Detective Flores showed her. These ladies never took "Jodi 101" fortunately.

Just caught the tail end of the 5:00 news on Channel 8. WFAA. The brother of CC was interviewed but I think I missed most of it. He did say that the two girls (CC & the ex) were "very close" and that they were together the night before the murder. Also that the ex had offered to buy CC a car (couldn't tell if he meant as payment for the "robbery" or before that)?! Hoping for a link....can someone check? I'm now mobile but did record the show so I can go back and listen to the interview when I get home tonight.

Thanks in advance if you can post a link to this info!!

Wow, so now this is beginning to look like a case of besties in it until the end. There is nothing quite as dangerous as an unstable, jealous woman out for blood and an unstable, enabling friend willing to help her.

Maybe the $500 was a ruse and she was going to buy CC a car. I thought $500 was a pretty small amount for the job.

Now I am willing to bet there was no 'hired hit man' in the back seat. I think it was the two women themselves, JMO.

This doesn't have the actual interview with the brother, but a summary of it:

Close in real life, but not on FB. Interesting.

This is exactly what I have thought since the ex was introduced. I truly believe there wasn't a guy at all.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was ever dumped. My ex husband left for a woman 20 years younger than me. Then got her pregnant and I'm infertile.
It hurt like heck.
I did not want "good" things for either of them for several months, but in real life you don't kill others. You seek counseling.
IMO the ex was angrier w/Kendra than Ricky.
Such lack of foresight. Such absolute disregard for others.
I'm not shocked. I'm disgusted. This never had to happen.
Not blaming the actions of Kendra either.
However she had to know she was making the ex furious w/all the public pix.
Women (and men) of all ages, please use better judgment.
Here at WS we know this already.

And in the article just posted from WFAA, CC's brother states that the ex was giving CC gifts. It sounds like his ex (the one we can't name) attached herself to CC and groomed her to aid in this murder. Chilling.

Is it possible to clean up a Facebook page?

Yes, it is. You can delete friends, erase posts, erase other people's comments, unlike pages, limit what's made public, etc. You can essentially erase any association to someone, especially if they go in and do the same.

Is it possible to clean up a Facebook page?

Yes it is. It wouldn't be easy, but people do it all the time like after a break up to get rid of any mention or picture of an ex. Stuff often gets through though because you can't control other pages, and you might be pictured with the ex on someone else's profile. You can untag yourself so it's difficult to find to anyone who wouldn't know "They were at Bobby's high school graduation last year." You can also change the privacy settings on certain posts and photos.

It would be really hard to hide your BFF though. I would have to shut down my FB to hide mine.

CC's family said in another interview that she had "new friends." Her Facebook page shows a woman whose life was in a downward spiral. Many of her posts are very angry. She had lost a job she liked. The former GF had a big loss too.

It's possible that her "closeness" to the former Girlfriend grew out of their mutual misery. Basically, they fed each other's anger and pain.

I don't think there was any third adult with them. There's more to say but not within our parameters at this moment.
