Yes, we were. I have always gone with LE's initial statement that there was, in fact, a male shooter. It appears they knew just what they were doing and who the players were. They were smart about this. Well done.

Yes, and the fact her mother stated that she had recently been on her "own" religious pilgrimage, seemed to imply that BD might be on one herself now. Perhaps that's a nicer way of saying, "on the run." MOO.
 
This is great news. I can't imagine it will take long for Brenda to be apprehended. She has already exhibited lack of common sense and critical thinking skills. It was obvious she was involved. Unless she has a trust fund we haven't heard about, she will run out of resources real soon.
 
Good news at last! I check here every day for news. Thank goodness the murder weapon was found with KL!
Now get Delgado!

Now we know WHY he needed a driver:

The driver of the vehicle, Kristopher Love, 28, 3391 Renault, Memphis, Tenn., was unable to produce a driver's license for Hill. A license check revealed his license had been suspended, and he had five prior convictions for driving on a suspended license.
 
Texasgirl2, if you have any crow left, you can send it to me in New York City. The black male shooter threw me. I just didn't believe it. CC being hoodwinked? I still don't believe she is as innocent as she claims, in that she didn't know what the plan was. Brenda Delgado? I have to eat crow there because I knew she was involved, but I didn't think she was as sinister as she now appears to be. I thought she was just jealous and heartbroken, but the fact that it appears she orchestrated this whole thing is frightening. I now wonder if this is the first time she was involved in a murder for hire.

As a man who grew up in Detroit and had a sister assaulted by an insane guy and left for dead - she survived but has never since been the sister I once knew - Kendra's case resonated with me because I have always regretted that I was too young to protect my own sister. For that reason, when something happens to a woman, I try to do what I can to at least help figure out who was involved. This is what drew me to Websleuths and this case.

With that said, I'd like to ask all the women who participate on this thread to please, please be mindful of what you allow on your public social media. Not to blame the victim, but Kendra's wide-open Facebook profile showing her brand new relationship with Delgado's ex gave Delgado something to stalk and seethe over. Most people don't get angry enough to kill someone, but you never know who might be stalking your profile, even today.

I will follow this case from afar from here on out. I'm happy Dallas Police have connected the dots. I'm sad, however, that it ever came to this. Personally, I'd like to have never heard the name of Kendra Hatcher. I can only imagine, if allowed, the fun things she would have planned for a relaxing Saturday just like today.

Those are strong words, and I agree 100%. Especially the last sentence. This case has weighed so heavy on my mind. My wish is that it never happened and Dr. Hatcher was able to wake up to a Saturday morning cup of coffee, ready to enjoy her wknd. 😢
 
LE was on it. Honestly, even though it was very frustrating for those of us following the case, they played their cards very close to the vest and it worked. It gave them the space to do what they do. This is such a relief for Kendra's family.

The victim’s brother expressed hope Delgado would be captured quickly and relief at the news of the suspected trigger man’s arrest in aninterview with KXAS-TV.

Neil Hatcher said, “It’s been quiet for a while now, and for this to come out on the anniversary of her death is, I guess I can’t say ‘refreshing,’ but it’s nice.”

I bet he is! Yet she prob loved him too much to hurt him in any other manner than what she planned for K. So terribly sad. I can just imagine how sick and disgusted he is with all of this. To even imagine he dated such a sick individual is enough.
Imagine how gross it will be to have to look at her in court and re live this horrific event.

That was just my joke that fell flat. :tomato: The witness said the shooter got in the driver's seat of the Jeep (which was occupied by CC). So I joked that maybe the witness was from Britain where the steering wheel is on the right side and he thought the passenger seat was the driver's seat. Some took me seriously. It was just a dumb joke. I hope we can put it to bed. :bed: We don't know where the witness is from.

But you're right that witnesses can't always be trusted to see accurately. And I couldn't resist giving you a hard time. :D

Weird. It was just posted on NYDailyNews that BD was arrested. I came here to see if someone already posted it but now it's been changed. Wonder what's going on. It was only minutes.

My husband just said they showed on our local dallas news that she had been arrested and was in a white and orange jumper (jail suit) ????? I was outside dammit. I hope he was correct

Fox 4 news report shows interview with KL's girlfriend
 
I think they are flashing Brenda Delgado's mugshot on some of the news channels from her arrest earlier in September on those traffic matters they held her on while searching her apartment.

Anxiously googling and refreshing looking for news hoping she is in custody, but I don't think she is yet.
