I having been biting my tongue and choosing my words carefully but in a case with mom and boyfriend failing tests (insert reason why here), dad with a record and open warrants, a time line that results in neither parent knowing their child is missing for twenty fours hours plus..... seems to me like the boyfriend is getting battered from every angle including movie preferences and the parents are getting a complete free pass on any and all topics as they come up.

I respect that is the tone for this forum for this case and I can go elsewhere to discuss other angles. But from LE, to the polygraph failures, to the boyfriend who admittedly fits almost every redflag in these types of cases to the family issues there is a lot of things that just ain't right.

Included in the things that just aren't right is that the dad's girlfriend reportedly can't remember what day she last saw HD!
I really want more information about her and CD. We know what the mom does for a living, we know who her boyfriend is, how old he is, etc. I want to know the same information about CD and his GF. Anyone??

Locals have these areas been checked for any abandoned buildings, etc in C-City?

1. 800 block of E 2nd Street
2. 100 block of Austin Street
3. 600 block of E 18th Street

And are any of you familiar with the players involved with either the SAS flea markets in C-City or the Knick Knack shop in C-City?

Actually I cannot find an Austin Street in C-City but have found a document referencing this address in C-City.

I know who works at the knick knack shop..or did

There is an Austin Street in C-City...my mom used to rent a house on Austin.

Dean tells KTAB News Billie Dunn was asked additional questions over the weekend by investigators. Billie Dunn also told KTAB's Tiffany Tatro that she was asked to take another polygraph test. She went on to say she's not sure if she'll take it because she's frustrated with the system. Billie Dunn claims both she and her boyfriend Shawn Adkins failed their polygraph tests last week. Investigators say they never revealed results of the testing to Dunn or Adkins.

I asked yesterday (and maybe missed the answer) but can a local tell us what the grade levels are for the C-City schools ?

and if anyone knows if HD has attended another school district recently ?

The reason I ask is that it seems like HD has A LOT of "older" friends on her facebook page. A high percentage of them either go to high school or even college. LE stated they were going to the middle school to speak to kids so I think HD likely attends the middle school at this point.

This could be very important in determining how she could stay gone this long if she has indeed left of her own accord. It's going to be MUCH easier to leave if you have the help of a 17 -21 year old than if the only ones assisting you are also 13.

The other thing I find somewhat concerning are the lack of postings /comments on HD's facebook. IME ..... These kids comment on everything and anything back and forth to each other. With some 260+ friends I find it strange that the only comments to her statuses are (mostly) adults (presumably family or family friends?) The fact that other kids aren't commenting compiled with her posts about fighting with other girls ..... makes me wonder if HD's social problems were a lot worse than what has been suspected or reported.

If LE indeed thinks Hailey is hiding...an adult or at least someone old enough to provide food, etc is helping her, which can be/is a criminal act. So that's not a runaway anymore.I just don't get this at all, but I am not feeling good about Hailey coming home.

BBM-I agree and have said/posted this numerous times, I don't know why LE doesn't address this issue at one of their updates. As far as Hailey, I am still holding out hope for her. I know the statistics. I know the cases but this one, until we have more information I want to think she will return to her Mom and Dad.

This could be one of those things LE says they have not been truthful about.
I can't see why Billie would have thought that LE wouldn't check out his job, and find out he was fired, but she was distraught at the time. And there is a remote possibility that she did not know he wasn't working... Casey had her family fooled about her "job" for months.

According to czgtz(see the posts re this) BD knew on Wednesday 12/29 that SA was fired. She found out when they met with the PD. Hailey went missing on Monday 12/27, so two days later BD knew that he was let go. We're not sure why the story was that he was coming from work when she appeared on NG January 3. czgtz was assuming it was b/c she was nervous. BD knew SA wasn't working on Wednesday 12/29 from what we understand at this point IMO.

Sounds to me like they are doubting BD's and SA's account of the time line.
CD claimed he was with her for at least some of the 26th (Sunday) .... but from there they have no idea when she went missing ?

I don't like this one bit. LE suspects she is a RUNAWAY still. Why would BD or SA be untruthful about the time line if she has really runaway ? ? ? What would be the motivating factor there?

Yes, that plea for her to come home, heartwrenching. My heart hurts for BD.

I am remembering Rowan Ford. A small town Missouri girl who was taken out of her home by the Stepdads friend, allegedly raped, murdered and thrown down into a cave/hole by that friend and stepdad.
Many times parents don't stop to think who and/or what they are dragging into the child's life.
I'm hoping that SA pans out to be one of the good guys but I just don't get that warm, fuzzy feeling about him.

Have said that very thing here...The more questions that are answered, the more questions will pop up, it's a never ending cycle.
