There is a place where you can check for professional license status ! Let me work on that a minute ! If that is a proper WS posting ! Let me know to prceed or not. IYHOi know a lot of people are saying the license issue doesn't really mean anything as far as this case goes, but I've been doing some research and something doesn't seem right.
for failure to pay it should have been a lapsed license.
and also seems to be a big difference between suspended and revoked licenses

Not sure if it is public or not, I do beleive I have a membership to that information, so that would be considered improper ! So when in doubt better not ! JMOi think as long as it is public record you are ok. if you need to pay or be subscribed to the site you can't post it.

Imagine being a child,living in a house with someone that obsessed and roleplays. I know a box of stuff was found,what else,where did he keep his masks and all that creepy stuff?
Just thinking out loud ! Bet that stuff is not cheap ! IMOMaybe in the shed????????
That sounds extreme just for a failure to let a license expire, if expiration is what happened ! GEEZ.........IMOSomeone posted the link that showed the nursing order on this thread.
I didnt understand why she had a 1,200.00 fine.
Clarification please
was BD's nursing license suspended or revoked?
She had a $1200. fine? Really? That is a little steep. Here in FL for Educator Certificate - if you get in trouble (drinking, drugs, hitting kids) you usually get a fine and a written reprimand. Even then - the fines are rarely over $500.Someone posted the link that showed the nursing order on this thread.

Very helpful post !It was revoked - however, per TX BON (board of nursing) she can petition the board for renewal and it would most likely be granted...with payment of a fine.
CORRECTION: She COULD HAVE petitioned the board and probably WOULD HAVE received renewal...prior to this situation she's in however now...that's probably not likely.

<snipped>
Petition for Reconsideration or Reinstatement of License
A person who has been denied licensure, or whose license has been surrendered, suspended, or revoked has the right to petition the Board for reconsideration or reinstatement. The burden of proof that the person no longer poses a danger for deception, lying or falsification regarding patient care, record keeping related to nursing practice, or other acts of deception remains with the petitioner.

Not sure that has ever been established ! Or at least I have not seen it, and I have been wondering that from the start. IMS

That is surprising to me ~No...Texas does not require a drug test for license renewal.
