I didn't hear that they found her scent at a specific location within the hotel. Do they mean the 'ground floor' or an actual room on the ground floor??

I think getting a scent to an actual hotel ROOM would take this case in a very different direction. I think getting a scent in the lobby could be easily explained with the WIFI, the cafe within the hotel, or even a bored 13 year old looking for something to do.

To be honest, I don't see how these dogs can be SUPER accurate to the exact date when they are searching so late after Hailey went missing. She went missing on the 27th and I don't *think* the dogs were brought out until the 31st. It was my *impression*%

I think sarx would probably have the best information on this. I don't have a vast knowledge of the capabilities of bloodhounds (specifically) and again it ALWAYS depends on the training the dog has had.

I think it's unlikely that a pooch could discern scent on a frequently traveled route that is either 4-5 days old and indicate in some way that it was EITHER 4 or 5 days old. I think that is likely stretching their capabilities. :waitasec:

Any news about SA showing up for his poly or not? I wouldn't be surprised if we find out he has lawyered up and the poly is on hold.

Has Billie said what her work hours are? 12 hour shift....but, what 12 hours?

So far, dad says he last saw Hailey on Sun., Dec. 26th. I wonder when Billie and the brother last saw her? And, are there any relatives close by? Grandparents, aunts, uncles?

She works 7am to 7pm.

I guess Hailey came home after being at her Dads house on Sunday. The brother was staying over night on Sunday at his friends house. So she must have came home on Sunday. Anyway a neighbor did see her in her back yard talking on a cell phone on Monday afternoon for a half hour.

According to mom, SA picked her up from work at 7pm.

So if that is the case, then the gap in our time line is from approximately 3pm, when SA left his parents' house, to 7pm, when SA picked BO up from work. Accounting for driving time, here is what we are looking at...

6:30am-3pm (minus driving time from SA's work to parents' house) ~ SA confirmed by police as being at parents' house in Big Spring

Shortest Driving Time from Adkins' residence to Ostrander residence ~ 50 minutes, depending on speeds traveled

3:30pm ~ SA claims to be at Ostrander residence (though drive time from Big Spring to Colorado City would skew this a bit with him either leaving BS earlier than 3pm or arriving at CC later than 3:30pm by approximately 20min) and Hailey leaves shortly thereafter

3:30pm-6:30pm ~ SA's time unaccounted for

6:30pm-7pm ~ SA drives to pick up BO at work in Snyder

7pm ~ BO confirms that SA picks her up from work

ETA: Apparently it has changed and SA was escorted in at 10:45 AM CST for a polygraph.

I don't think so. I have not heard that they talked to any guest yet. They may have but I am sure that they aren't talking to people about that. IMO

The city issued a news release Tuesday stating that the police department is working alongside the Texas Rangers, the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, staff from the office of 32nd District Attorney Ann Reed, and other law enforcement departments in the region.
