I believe LE took BD to the landfill yesterday and LE are back there themselves today searching with cadaver dogs.

This makes me think perhaps they narrowed down an area to search and/or found something that prompted more cadaver searches today.

I am NOT "questioning her veracity" about this AT ALL. I want to use this quote to point out to the "sticklers" that this statement, taken literally, is provably false. "A week ago" January 19th, Hailey had already been missing two weeks. For Billie, it's as if, in some ways, time hasn't moved forward since then... she (obviously?) means "until a week before she disappeared". Is this "inconsistent"? A "lie"? NO! It is her overstressed mind just trying to get her from one breath to the next.

This makes me think perhaps they narrowed down an area to search and/or found something that prompted more cadaver searches today.

I hope they posted a guard over the landfill overnight

And maybe the "other areas" they took her to were where his phone was pinging, see if she knew of any spots in those areas that he liked or something like that?

IMO...the landfills are the key.....to finding any evidence...

IF true....that there have been "hits" by dogs....and a "rumor" of evidence found...and more ongoing searches...with these dogs....and IF TRUE..that BD is going to the landfill.....
IMO...something IS of importance regarding the search of landfill.s...
I would wonder why the LE is escorting BD to these search sites...

Anyone know if this is "routine" in these cases...to escort the parents to the ongoing searches...of their child???.....IMO...

She never says so, and the supposed sighting would have been 6-8 hours later than JBs and included "her (Hailey's) friend" as well as "a boy". I think this was an unconfirmable sighting, separate from Jean's.

I too wish someone would ask Billie where SA was coming from on Tuesday when he learned Hailey was missing, where was he when Billie let him know, what he had done that day. NG has had dozens of chances but she never follows up properly. This is potentially a huge piece of information, one Le probably knows, but we don't.

It's been more than three weeks since the girl was reported missing December 28th. Dunn went to some landfills and other areas around Colorado City yesterday with police -- but says she's still hoping to find her daughter alive."

If they took her there yesterday.....yes......This might explain .....more searching....with the dogs...Time will tell....IMO

You will find officer-dispatcher talk like this everywhere. I'm pullin out my dispatcher card. You cannot assume that HD's disappearance was not taken seriously because of that tidbit of conversation. The officer was talking to his dispatcher not directly to BD. He went and dealt with it thus doing his job.

There are people in every profession who do not perform well. What I am saying is that it is unethical, unprofessional, an unacceptable for anyone whose job is to serve and protect the public to express that kind of poor attitude on the job. A well-run department would not tolerate it, and an officer with a poor attitude would not remain employed if it continued.

Drug abuse, abuse of authority, dishonesty and laziness can be found every profession. Whether it is tolerated and allowed to continue makes all the difference...especially in a profession where lives are at stake.

Can we please just lay all this talk about LE and the officer's demeanor on the phone aside. They put their lives on the line EVERYDAY and as I write this I'm watching a Special Report here - which will probably be national very soon.

Two Miami Dade Police officers have been shot and killed this morning. They were serving a warrant on a violent offender and he opened fire. The criminal was killed as well.

The two officers - one (male) was shot once - killed on the scene, one (female) shot multiple times, transported and died on the operating table, and a third (gender unknown) officer with minor injuries.

Can you all just take a moment and say a prayer for these officers' familes?

My heart goes out to police officers, dispatchers, and other emergency personnel who have to sort out all of the problems caused by bad relationships. I think it's infuriating--and at the least frustrating--when women bring scoundrels into their homes, knowing full well that they're scoundrels, and expose their children to that, and then they run tattle to LE when it all goes south. And what happens? As soon as the crisis is averted, they let the scoundrel right back into their home and their children's lives.

I've had a few surgeries in my lifetime. Each and every single one of those surgeons had a REALLY crappy bedside manner and just didn't seem to like people much at all, but I had no qualms about putting my life in their hands, and since I'm here typing this, they didn't let me down.
