IF she already talked to her son and knew Hailey was missing, she was probably talking about that. I know if I were riding with someone that just found out their child was missing, the last thing I would do is tell them more bad news (ie: job loss). I am NOT defending him, just mho.

True, but he lost his job the day before...

I think the father is in his 30's,has about 4 kids.Oh never mind,I thought you meant the father, read it too fast and saw Dunn.

Clint has two children with BO, DD and Hailey, and his girlfriend was seen holding a newborn. Do Clint and the gf have another child? TIA

I am just soooo on the fence about the BF.

One minute I'm thinking he had nothing to do with it and the next I'm wondering.

He has been exceptionally cooperative, said he didn't care that suspecion was on him on NG show just glad the child's face is out there...etc... then the whole left work at 6 and spent the day with the one person in the world that would lie for him IMO) ..his mom...last one to see her...geeez, my head is spinning

Im going back and forth with the BF but what really gets to me is when her mom realized she left wearing her flip flops and not her tennis shoes and then found her HOODIE in her room. Her mom stated it has been pretty chilly here, and that about tore her up thinking about Hailey being cold.

Who would leave their home in flip flops and no jacket when going anywhere for the night??

If I was at work with no vehicle and my child went missing. I would be asking anyone to drive me to the police station... and calling my boyfriend to meet me there. I wouldn't be waiting 10 minutes for him to get there, much less 20 or 30.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is what Billie did. Have a coworker (or even family member of a patient, I would do that for any of our nurses) takes her to the police station immediately and Shawn meets her there and takes her home.

S A..

"I would never do anything to that little girl, I love her with all my heart."

S A... (her name is Hailey.)

M C....

"I love that little girl more than anything. I would never hurt her."

M C ...(her name is Haleigh.)

When was it said that SA was in C.City on Tuesday? The day BO heard from DD that HD wasn't at MB house.

Clint has two children with BO, David and Hailey, and his girlfriend was seen holding a newborn. Do Clint and the gf have another child? TIA

I think they're talking about SA's father...? :waitasec: (I was a bit confused by it, too, but it appeared in a post about SA, I believe -- about the father having 4 children).

It was said that he was at home on Monday afternoon, nothing was said about Tuesday.

True, but he lost his job the day before...

Many men find it difficult to impossible to tell their loved ones they lost their job. They feel so muich like a failure. Numerous cases of men who leave the home for months, dressed in a suit and tie, with briefcase and go to the public library for the day until "work" is over so the wife never knows. Not sure how they hide the finances but probably in those cases they had enough savings they could play with.

I don't think she knew till a couple days ago...

That's my point... I think we're all under the impression that she didn't know until just a day or two ago -- between NG's first interview and her 2nd one. That's my interpretation of events anyway. Anyone else?

My 17 year old wears flip flops all year round. She can't stand shoes. At the same time she would never leave without her hoodie.

Where was boyfriend on Tuesday when mom first learned that H was missing? That part is vague to me. He had slept there the night previously, I believe. Was he still at the house? And if he had not gone to work, wouldn't mom want to know why? Or does she leave first?

If this is a repeat, please excuse me. Found this snippet interesting:

Billie Dunn declined to comment while authorities were in her home and asked reporters to return in the afternoon. But later in the day, Dunn was no longer at home and was seen walking with officers between the Colorado City Police Department and the Mitchell County Courthouse.

The reason she was with law enforcement officers is not immediately clear.

My husband and about 15 others (including 2 people from Big Spring) are out right now searching on foot around that Hotel, down the alleys, over to Hailey's house, her dad's house and over to MB's house.

That may be true, but when your GF's daughter is missing, you need to come clean on the facts: when the last time you saw her.

- first: mom said she assumed he had come home at 1:00 since that's his lunch break (wouldn't he have corrected her before she told LE, or soon after?)

- second: mom learns it was 3:00

- third: new details about him losing his job

We're talking about a full week, IF it's correct that she just learned about it a day or two ago.

If you actually get fired you can often collect unemployment. I know a guy who supported his not working, pregnant wife... including a trip to Hawaii on unemployment. While she continued to think he was employed. He was gone from 9-5 everyday for those few months.

Wow mommaJack - are you the group with the flashlights?

If anyone gets through on NG its important to understand when she was actually told he lost his job and what did they do Monday nite, not that i think they did too much if she worked a 12 hour day.

Also:

Law enforcement officers were at the home of the missing teen this morning. Later in the day, the teen’s mother, Billie Dunn, was seen being escorted by Colorado City Police Department officers from the police station to the Mitchell County Courthouse.

The courthouse is the command center.

She was walking... so I don't think they just gave her horrible news.

I hope they didn't just tell her that her boyfriend flunked his polygraph... I am guessing they just gave her a routine update and then went over to the command center with her?

That's what I'm going to hope for anyway.
