I've posted the L-Z surnames of the missing girls as of Dec 2013. Since I had to cut, and re-enter the url, I went ahead and opened it this time and updated their status. It's encouraging to see so many Found and a couple of the girls that were submitted to Dr Derrick, now have DNA available. A-K still needs updating the DNA & Found status. And then from post 1374 forward is still not in the list. So still a little scattered in 3 parts - A-K, L-Z and then posts 1231-1373 section. I'll plan to consolidate and add 1374 to date when time allows.
Definitely - corrections, updates and additional data always welcome.

That L-Z post is the maximum length. Adding this message made it tilt so this goes with that.

This replaces 1231-1373 and is up to wdmcmahan's suggestion tonight.
Still have the A-K updates and then merge these new ones to be alphabetical with the older ones and a final repost and we'll be ready for a new thread, if that is still desired.
When I merge, I'll sort & drop the no longer missing and do a final repost of only the ones still missing and it can be copied over to a new thread when ready. Sound like a plan? It's going a lot faster than anticipated so hopefully get 'er done this weekend.

Thank you so much for all the work you're doing. This is amazing.

It is amazing - the team effort. I think about three of 352 suggestions are mine.
*You guys* deserve all the credit. I'm limited in my abilities in that respect so want to support you all by doing this, which is what I'm better at.
And we still have a job to do, getting Smurfette's name back.

Anyway, I think I'm done. We had 301 missing girls in the last update. And then I posted 53 new ones for 354. Ruth Flores was in twice, and Jeri Short, so 352 Total. In an earlier post, I had separated missing/found and put that there were 207/94 missing, but that was a miscount. I neglected to count the 3 leading lines in my spreadsheet, so it was really 204/97. Still 301, though. Now we have 97+71 found for 168 total found out of the 352. 89 of the remaining 184 are A-K, and 95 are L-Z. I may appear a little obsessed with the counts and that would be correct. I would be sick if I accidently left one behind that could possibly be our Smurfette. So I'll be posting 3 posts shortly.
Please don't hesitate to correct and/or critique any of the information I've put together here.

Age is within range, race is consistent, height is within 3 inches, went missing 2 months prior to estimated time of death, about 219 miles away.

Whoever she refers to as sister could not be her biological sister because her mom is fairly young. Also, I think the name could be wrong but maybe a clue. She is not yet 5 (but close) so it's hard to believe she could remember much past a year. However, this particular case caught my eye as I was researching because the female body was found in a field in a bag. I have informed her caseworker about this story but they told me there was no record of another child. I do not believe it was a child but a young adult she was talking about. She said her "sister" had a boyfriend. I have to be very careful due to privacy concerns with her being a foster child but I could not help but do a bit of research after hearing her story. Her mom and the man she calls dad (not her bio dad) have been back and forth from the state where she now is and Texas. This child is biracial (black/white).

I have been a foster parent for more than 20 years and have never heard anything quite like it. I do need the help of someone who has more time than I do to find something out for me. On the mom's social networking site, we found a picture of a young woman. Dark hair, looks like she could be sleeping (or dead) but most likely sleeping. The picture is dark as if taken in a dark room and hard to see. But the ominous part is the comment made by the person (child's mother) "Paybacks a ***** 4 this *advertiser censored* *advertiser censored***** B***** AKA Snowflake who's only 17." I would like to find an *advertiser censored***** B***** AKA snowflake and see if she is still alive and what she can tell us. Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't mind me asking, if your foster child is from Texas then what area is she from? I'm curious since tests done on our Smurfette showed she could very well of been from the Austin and San Antonio area even though she was found in Houston.

I work with a lot of children this age. That is quite a story for a little one to make up, to even come up with, unless maybe they saw a movie or something... Very troubling, imo. Just got on and saw these last comments. I will be having a discussion with the caseworker and her supervisor in a couple days. I will see what I can get done. I am concerned that the story has not been taken seriously. I have contacted Sharon Derrick and told the story but could not give names. It will be up to the caseworker if names will be given. I take the privacy mandate of foster parenting very seriously, but this IF the child is telling something she actually witnessed, then it is murder.
