Jerica is biracial and her height matches. She looks to have dark hair that is possibly wavy. I like Jerica as a match because of the timeline.

Both of these girls descriptions leads one to believe they were both petite like our smurfette.

Diana is biracial. Age matches as does the height. Her weight is listed as 143lbs so I'm not sure the clothing smurfette was wearing would match Diana's clothing size. However she went missing 09/08/2012 that's two and a half weeks before the postmortem interval date of our doe. Diana is listed as a runaway.

That is a great thought. i wonder if she may have had some kind of degenerative bone disease that caused the tooth decay, osteopenia and skull shape. Is there a specific syndrome that causes asymmetrical skull shape along with missing ribs??

I really wish they could do a sketch of this girl. I think it would be so helpful. Is it possible that her overbite, decaying teeth and skull malformation would have a significant impact on her physical appearance? Also, the small stature and missing ribs? Wondering how this all would affect her physically.

Frustrated beyond belief. I have made numerous calls to harris county forensics. Called both numbers listed on namus and left messages with call back number. Any time I call no one picks up! I called early this morning(they read their operating hours on voicemail) sO they were definitely open! Ahhhhhh

Woohoo! They finally called me back. I went ahead and submitted Arielle Glenn. I was at work when I got the call so I didn't have time to mention the other possible matches.

Just for reference
When calling the Harris's county forensic institute you need to have the date the unidentified person was found and you need the missing persons name and the police agency listed for that missing person. It's the first time I have sent in a match via phone, figured other noobs would appreciate this information.

This is a tough one because of the condition of the body. I agree on the fact she's a teenager that acts like a teenager, meaning a girl that does not try to act older than she is. To me, the hair screams Caucasian because Latino or Native decent tends to be BLACK while that seems to be a dark brown with some variation in tone.

Didn;t they say that the girl was very skinny and malnourished? 5'2 and 140 is definitely overweight

The medical examiner is still unsure of her race. They do think that she could be biracial. The texture of the hair leads me to believe that she is in fact biracial. She looks to have very wavy hair, but the waves seem like they are derived from very tight small curls which are most common in African Americans, and the smoothness of the hair could lead one to believe she is Caucasian. I think our smurfette is at least half African american.
