Thats what I say carbuff, about truckers sitting up high I think she was near the culvert not in it.

OK...I've never been in a truck so I wouldn't know. Speculation only!

A lot of people are viewing and sharing her story on Never Forget Me. I'm happy her story is getting so much attention. I believe she'll be identified soon.

Regarding the trucker that discovered the body, I don't think his name should be posted while speculating that he committed the murder. I'm sure LE checked him out at the time, and apparently they didn't charge him.

I noticed that too--a huge thank you to those who run NFM! Not to mention *one* of the articles about her got over 9,000 shares! Calculating in how many shares the other couple articles got, I have a good belief of word maybe reaching the right people. We need to bring her home!

She is also listed on the Walker County TX Sheriff's rule-out list for their 1980 Walker County Jane Doe (though not on WCJD's NamUs rule-out list).

This is off topic from Newhall Jane Doe, but can you provide a link to the Walker County Sherrif page for WCJD? If they are more updated than NamUs, I'd like to see more of her exclusions.

I agree. It's kind of disturbing to me frankly. Adding a "just speculation!" or "jmo" doesn't really do much if you're the person being speculated as a murderer of a teenage girl. I think about how many people don't call the police about suspicious things they see or just don't want to get involved. And here we have a man who, based on the only available information, did the right thing in reporting it to LE. And for that he gets speculated to be a murderer. Imagine doing a google search on yourself and this thread comes up? Just something to think about.

I see your points everyone. Since he is not a suspect, we should refer to him as JR. No disrespect intended towards him.

Agree that calling him JR is best, but want to state the reason I suggest he be interviewed again is because a known serial killer called the truck stop killer who turtured and strangled his victims in his truck has the same last name and operated in houston in later years. When WCJD was found he was in his mid thirties and very well could have been in the area. It's a posssibility she could have been a very early victim of his and in hindsight a better interview could be done. He's in prison serving lige without parole so it's not hard to find him. He is suspected of 50+ murders and this was not know until wcjd case was 10 years cold.

Robert Ben Rhoades, yes. Anyway, about JR, I agree with you. Just to be on the safe side, search his recollections.

JR is still alive & well living out his awesome days in an Illinois state pen.

I have no problem disn' him every time I see his name or crimes.
He doesn't deserve our respect but that's just me.

I would hate for his rep to be ruined because of said speculations.

If this is in reference to JR, I am referring to Robert Ben Rhodes. I also get these two as the same person in my searches. Im at the conclusion JR is just a trucker who spotted her body, yes?
I mean no disrespect to JR if in fact he is not RBR. Confusing I know.. [emoji111]️

OT. But since so many of us speculate that she met her killer at the Hitchin', I decided to go on Google Maps and look through it, and study the area around it. https://www.google.com/maps/place/H...0x8647aa5906115a7b:0xc7b3016635ce40c8!6m1!1e1

Honestly, I think it looks a bit seedy, that was my first thought. Anyway, according to http://www.truckstopreport.com/tsr/Detailed/1618.html it has "showers; scales; loadboard; money transfer; laundry machines; FedEx pickup. Truck wash adjacent to truck stop".

There's a pretty big parking lot and area around the entrance filled with trucks. I think she probably met her killer at the entrance of the truck stop.

What confuses me is, it's only about 3 minutes, or 1.1 m. away from the dumpsite. He would have had to pull over and then assault her while pulled over, which you'd think witnesses would notice. But IDK.

Then say RBJ because JR is the person who found her and he himself is a trucker. Unless its confirmed same person we should not be naming JR as was mentioned earlier.
