Just to give you an update on the bond hearing for Jeffery Farrey, his bond has been reduced to 1 million surety and 500,000 personal recognition bond.

In search-warrant documents, Jeffrey Farrey, 22, told his father, Jeffrey Farrey Sr., that they buried the body of Jackson outside Orogrande, N.M., after he choked to death.

How did Jeffrey Farrey know Jackson choked to death? Did he witness this?? Is this what Jenna told him happened? If your infant were choking wouldn't you call 911?? Unless you witness it happening how can he or Jenna know that is what caused him to die? I mean you don't just find your child dead and assume they choked to death do you?? And if they are choking you call for help. It doesn't make any sense to me. It's not a very good cover story (if that's what they are trying for).

Joe Spencer, Jeffrey Farrey's lawyer, said he believed the report would show that Jackson died from malnutrition.

"Nothing about the autopsy surprises me after my conversations with Jeffrey," Spencer said. "I think there is a malnutrition issue, but I think it will weigh more on Jenna than Jeffrey because he was deployed to Afghanistan and then to California for training."

Wasn't Jeffrey home by the time Jackson was born? Was he away for training/deployment after Jackson was born? Was he away in October when this happened?

According to Ft. Bliss, he was deployed from September 2011 to July 2012, so he was back. It does say he had begun training for another deployment but no specific dates or that he was in California, so not sure.

I have been wondering where Blake is. The article says that he is still with CPS. Jeffrey's mother stated recently on her facebook page that they are still trying to get him. https://www.facebook.com/deanna.farrey?fref=pb&hc_location=profile_browser

Hate this is taking so long. Typical of our justice system, though. Nothing unexpected.

You're kidding me, right? I mean, I know it's your job to defend your client. But you don't have to insult everyone reading and listening to your words by comparing what daddy is going through to what Jackson went through. Most of all you're insulting Jackson. The only way daddy would be AS MUCH OF A VICTIM as the child is if he was incapable of caring for himself, and died by some sort of criminal negligence, probably starvation, and who knows what else and then dumped in the desert. Until that happens I don't want to hear the words "he's as much of a victim as the child" ever again.

It took a while but I just read the entire thread I have a 1 month old (tomorrow) grand son, and he's as cute and precious as the day is long, so this case really got to me. I have no doubt justice will be served for little Jackson. I hope B is in a safe place somewhere, that he's thriving and loved.

Jenna Farrey appeared before 384th District Judge Patrick Garcia for a pre-trial hearing at 9 a.m...

The trial for Jenna was originally scheduled for Dec. 5 but was rescheduled to begin March 20, 2015.

Jeffrey’s trial is also scheduled to begin March 20, 2015.
