Ok, this isn't helping to solve this case. I would care what TT has to say. That's it. Even IF someone became verified in order to speak for someone else, those words would still be heresay.

If TT won't come here himself and even just tell his story, for whatever reason, then he shouldn't be sending anyone else to do it. I can understand if his lawyer advised him to stay away from sm. If that's the case, then he should actually stay away, not speak through other people. If he is innocent, he shouldn't care what anyone here thinks.

If he is still wanting to help find the trio, maybe he and his lawyer could come up with an acceptable post or two to put here.

Websleuths is an amazing community full of intelligent minds and has helped solve many cases. Nobody here wants an innocent man to be harmed. We all want to find out the truth about these girls, to bring them home and to give them justice.

He doesn't have or need a lawyer.
He hasn't been told to do anything.
Honestly he couldn't care less what is being said about him.
With that being said people out of the kindness of their heart's started posting pictures of his family and sending death threats to his messenger. Then we (his family) started paying attention. to these "facts" and here we are.

Nobody at WS is allowed to harass or threaten anyone. If that has happened, then it needs to be taken to Tricia. There are very strict rules here and those types of things area taken very seriously and immediately handled.

With that being said... There are others among us who have been harassed and threatened as well. Someone doesn't want us poking around in this case. So if it's happening to you or him or both, let's all stand strong together and find out what they don't want anyone to know!

I don't know what happened to the girls. There are lots of theories. Of course Rachel's husband is one of the theories, it's no different than any other case where a wife goes missing. That's just part of it, it's not always fair and it really sucks for the innocent.

BUT. We (ws members) did not do this, the person who took the Trio is the cause of all the turmoil and heartache.

There are MANY theories and it is important to discuss them all, in order to try to rule them in or out. We are only here to get to the truth.

Wd, very well said. And I agree.
For some reason facts are added and subtracted from this case way too often and all the changes come from the same source. Tommy doesn't get on the computer, he's older and not that familiar with the web. He has agreed to answer questions if that will help sort the fact from theory.
We all want closure and these girls deserve that justice.

<modsnip: not an established fact>

I pray they someday feel that the girls are as important as the secrets they hold.

What I think put the most pressure on Rachel's family was her writing that letter, if she did. If she didn't write it her husband must have. His story is told nowhere but rumors. The police called the letter a bunch of bull. Showing up the next morning? To me that says whoever wrote it knew the police were telling the families to try and stay calm. They ran away they'll be back. Somebody that overheard the police say that late on that parking lot - before the news got hold of it. Rachel wasn't there to overhear the police suggest they ran away. Rachel wasn't at her car to hear police call in the car's location and describe it as Sears upper lot. Makes sense to me somebody rushed home, wrote that letter, then stuck it in a mailbox where it was picked up and postmarked after midnight. Someone that knew those girls well enough to know Tommy's address or how to find it, and his full name. Someone with paper and pens and pencils and envelops and stamps? Someone with enough time to do all that?
EBM - that's editted by me you people without lists:
I should not have said "It must have been written by her husband." I should have said it must have been written by someone that was there to see and hear all that. So, who all was there?

How do you know when they called it in they used the term
Upper lot? Please post link to where it said Police called it in stating the upper lot

Right. So why doesn't he come tell us???

WD it is more than clear your heart is in the right place as are many others. I don't see how anyone can seriously dig down into this thing and not be infuriated to your very soul. Not only is it very clear that , hmm I'm not good at political correctness but I will do my best, specific individuals have lied for years, the mall thing is unlikely, the time line has been given by these same individuals varies from 2-4pm until 8:30-11:45pm so pick one??? TT in my opinion would be a fool to get on here and say a word. He's trying to let us know what he can the best way he can I believe. He probably did some not so smart stuff back then as I'm sure we all have, but harming those girls I just don't think that for a second. TT, the mall, serial killers are all intentionally pushed to keep it out of one families door step. I think it is really that simple but can never be proven. What makes me sick is the money site.

What would really really really be great is if the people involved, being grown adults with a vested interest in finding these girls, would get together and discuss this. Not one, not two, but all. If no one has anything to hide, it really should be that easy. Then everyone can go forth with a United front and try to find these girls. And no, I am not talking about in an open forum or fb page.

This is so odd. I wonder why they never called? Did he talk to them at all to set up the date and time and then they just not call back? That has to be frustrating!
I don’t know why Dateline wouldn’t jump to speak to a key person who hasn’t spoken publicly about the case in decades. Mmmm I wonder who wouldn’t want him to talk. That’s a rhetorical question. ;)

I just don't get it. another thing is I don't know how long it takes to compare dna of the remains found against the girls. But a certain someone can get the results COMFIRMED within 24-48 hours that any unidentified bodies are not the trio.
Namus I guess is unreliable ?

I don't know where the "common sense" link is. I wasn't there. I'm thinking, if the police didn't show up until the mall closed, and they listened to what the parents told them about the whole day and so forth, then just MAYBE someone there was over-hearing the police tell the parents that kids do this all the time or whatever. I'm not a cop but I watch enough television to know that when a cop is called out to a scene like that, right then right there he would probably get on his radio and call his station. If mall security people was there, common sense tells me that the location of the car was MAYBE described that way. That officer was MAYBE talking on the radio and maybe someone that was there overheard information and formed a plan to plant a letter.
