Ok, KHOU says the father has a history of drug convictions, that seems to be the reason he doesn't have the boys.

IF she actually had a miscarriage. I'm not sure I believe that part of the story either.

ITA. This guy lost his wife and now the custody of the kids even though there was no abuse?

im just completely speechless. all that keeps running through my mind is WHAT THE "FREAKKKKKK"???

i feel so sad for baby keegan, his mom who will never have the chance to watch her son grow up, his dad, and now this murderers friends, family, and children who will no longer have her in their lives.

the mind is such a complex thing & can make people do such crazy things. there is absolutely no happy ending to this story, other than baby keegan is alive. i hope his life is a happy one despite having such a rough start.

Don't hold your breath with CPS. I don't have many good things to say about Texas CPS.

I agree they should be able to reunite the father with all of his children by now.

I'm not sure we have heard that yet. I was assuming it was fairly recently based on her desperation in getting a baby to put it mildly.

Yeah, this has me so angry. There are so many cases where CPS drops the ball with actual evidence in their hands, but right now they are spending their time further victimizing this family instead? For a drug conviction? Give me a break. I'm so mad I could spit nails.

I don't believe the father has lost custody of his children. Right now the children are with family members and the father can see his children.

CPS and LE need to do their job in order to protect all the children. We only know what is being reported, however, we don't know inside the walls of the household.

If the father has a history of drugs and they test the father and he has drugs in his system, LE and CPS need to know this for the protection of the children.

I would be upset if the children were with strangers, but they are with family.

Well if it was fairly recent then the baby she was supposedly carrying would have been nearly full term. I am not convinced that she ever had a miscarriage. In this type of cases the woman sometimes pretends she was pregnant without actually being pregnant.

How she was planning to pass a white baby as her bio child is beyond my understanding.

I thought I read earlier that one of the children is NOT Schuchardt's child. If this is the case, then I am sure CPS would have to decide where this one child would live UNLESS the child was adoped by Schuchardt.

For me personally, the children are safe with family members, and I am content with CPS and LE doing their investigation to put everything in order.

KHOU is really reporting some incorrect info, imo. ^^^^^^^^ They have 3 sons, but were only married last summer according to their FB.

I think we can clear this up. :seeya:

The wedding pictures were posted in September 2009, so I don't think they got married in 2011.
The wedding pictures are in front of a Christmas tree, so I don't think it was a summer wedding.

I think that it was likely a December 2008 wedding.
3 years ago, would have been 4 years in December 2012.

Here is Kala's facebook. Her husband's has a couple of wedding pictures on it, posted in September of 2009.
