Thank God we didn't get some kind of crackpot on the jury holding back a guilty vote over a stupid pillow. A murderer will be going to prison. Here's hoping he stays there, where he can't destroy any more women and children's lives.

The most ridiculous part it that this fool is probably more afraid of sitting in prison with food and shelter than he is of burning in hell. You'd think a preacher would realize he can't be forgiven as long as he continues to deny what he did to Kari and his children.

Linda Dulin and her family have waited three times now. I hope the jury gives him Life so they never have to wait again.

65 years was as effective as life. He will be up for parole in 30 years and would have been even if given life.

Praise GOD..

Linda Dulin is a rock. I also pray she sleeps well tonight and gets a much deserved restful peaceful sleep.

I wish TDCJ would replay her statement over and over thru every prison he is ever in. I wish he had to hear it non stop for the next 65 years. I wish he had to go to sleep hearing it and wake to it. Play it continously through his sleep on those stinky lumpy plastic mattress an inamte recieves. YES praise God Matt Baker is an inmate. In a system that hates punks like him.

Little known fact.. Kari Lynn grew up in a prison town..he will be hard up to go to a prison where someone doesnt know her, or atleast know someone that knows her.

Just a littl FYI from the parole officers I know in Texas(I worked for the system, and my family does also..the prison system that is) Most parole officers really will not even entertain parole if the offender will not admit their wrong, and make some attempt at apology. I can not swear this is true in every officer, but I know several who feel that way. In their opinion no show of remorse means they are not reahbilitated..

ROFLMAO..NOT that we have THAT to worry about for atleast the next THIRTY years... And God willing if I am still around in 30 yrs and in my right mind(lol) I will watch for the chance of his parole and then write letters of protest even then. I would only be in my mid 60's then, so there is a chance

You know, it is beyond interesting having studied this case for so long to hear MB say today when asked if there was any LEGAL reason that his sentence shouldn't be enforced to hear him say: “I truly believe in my innocence. I believe the jury made a mistake.”

BELIEVE --- ARE YOU KIDDING ME? TRULY BELIEVE. NO, MB the jury didn't make a mistake. You truly believed that Kari was in you way, but you were wrong. YOU and YOU alone are in your way. The only thing you believe in in YOU.

Just heard interview w/ GJG on Kcen tv, 10 o clock news. I am paraphrasing while trying to keep it in as close to his exact words as possible.

he stated he did not believe MB was a truly religious man.
he said basically he was not the one to try this case because" i lost faith in my client, when a lawyer looses faith in their client they loose heart, I lost heart"

I saw a little more of his comments by flipping to KXXV,(which up until the 10 oclock news was still saying we were waiting for the sentencing verdict??) but anywhooo, apparently before what I said he said above, GJG said somethign about too many techniqual questions. At the end of THAT report they(KXXV) said (someone) said an appeal copuld be filed as early as tomorrow morning. I didnt catch WHO said that about the appeal.

Back to what KCEN said, (someone) had questioned an appeals lawyer and they stated the case didnt look good(for appeal). Also the legal expert on KCEN that spoke right after todays sentencing, said he felt with the testimony that to case was solid.

Just wanted to update you that arent local what is being said locally.

Several people from the Waco area were interviewed jsut to see what they thought of MB, the trial , and the sentence. I think it is five interviews I have seen to this point, and all have said they thought before the trial he was guilty,all said the story didnt add up. All agreed the sentence was fair, some stating it should have been longer.
The part in quotes is pretty near the exact words.

Am excitedly waiting Justices' post about this case..

again I just have to say once again.. Praise God, He is God ALL THE TIME.

Also, TruTv, 20/20, 48 hours, Inside Edition, AP were all there - so I think we will see many more shows on this. I hope that nobody is getting paid by Inside Edition unless it is the Dulins. VB, IMHO should not make a cent off of this trial and if she does, I will be outraged.
