Did that old gentleman say he was there (at work) every week day from six in the morning 'til ten at night?

I feel like such a loafer.

Saw on twitter that ME testimony ended and no questions from the defense. I'm very puzzled by the defense strategy. No opening statement, no questions for ME. But a not-guilty plea. Very odd.

I don't understand how they could even have any strategy. Just now on nbcfwf 4pm news, they are speculating that the defense is waiting until the sentencing phase before saying much of anything & they are just hoping for a life sentence rather than death. I think they forgot this is Texas & murder is frowned upon severely...........especially since Mrs. McLelland was shot 5 times & Mr. McLelland was shot 16 times. Just how many bullets does it take to make someone dead???????

I thought I may be transferring my anger about the poor sound to the defendant and what I thought I saw as smirking. I thought he looked like he enjoyed seeing the photos of the carnage. Like he was proud of himself.:(

He probably is enjoying seeing the carnage. My unprofessional opinion is that Williams is a sociopath & will go to the death chamber unrepentant. He & his wife both are quite a pair. Most married couples sit around the kitchen table talking about kids, grandkids, home improvement projects, vacations, budgets, landscapes, gardens, vehicle maintenance, & all the other mundane things involved in every day life. The Williams apparently sat around their kitchen table meticulously planning & preparing for the murder of 3 people. How weird is it possible to get??????????

The court appears to be on break but the camera is still on and shows different people touching a gun marked in a box saying 'evidence'.

I wish they'd quit handling it. Isn't it the murder weapon?

For someone who's career was ruined and would never be able to make that kind of money again, whose wife was "disabled" and her parents depended on him, he sure had some cash. About $5,999 more than me!!

Seeing all that they found in the house and the storage unit makes me wonder why the defense is even bothering. There is no way this man is not going to get death. It didn't look like they were going to plan on running, it looked to me they were going to commit more murders. Those boxes of booties alone made me cringe more than all of the weapons. And the molotov cocktail?? Just crazy. I wonder if Kim had death removed from the table with her testifying. I was hoping she would be up today since I am off.

I'm home today with my good ear buds, maybe it's that or the sound is a little better.

I just hope that prosecutors or jurors don't slip up & do something to cause a mistrial. That could be what the defense is hoping for. Let's face it, both the Williams are insane & I do not mean that in a legal sense. Who but a couple of nuts could have possibly thought they could get away with these crimes??????? Maybe they were just planning on suicide by the legal system.

Will Eric Williams ex-wife testify against him?

One of the main unanswered questions so far is whether or not Eric Williams’ ex-wife, Kim, will testify against him. She is also charged with the three murders. Several months ago, in open court, Wirskye told Judge Mike Snipes that no plea deal has been offered to Kim Williams. But, Sorrels explained, he believes that, if she does testify against Eric Williams, she may be given a more lenient sentence.
