Reported missing on Monday by her parents.

Bedford LE did not notify the public Kaytlynn was missing until Tuesday afternoon.

No suspect yet, no COD yet. He seems very frustrated, and I can only imagine Not only are they looking for whoever killed this precious girl, but fielding ignorant questions and criticisms from the public.

This is heartbreaking. Feels like the police are saying the family didn't seem to alert them 'enough'. Trying to imagine what else the family would be expected to say in that situation. Of course they are worried, grasping at where their daughter might be. I think it's up to the police to decide if she's in danger, not the parents. It seems BPD decided no, she's not.

I get what you're saying, but I'm trying to read between the lines in this presser and the Chief keeps mentioning going door to door in the apartment complex and how the family said Kaytlynn was probably at a friend's house. I just think they are focusing very close to home in this case. But that's just my opinion, which could be wrong and only time will tell.
