Bowens reportedly broke off the couple's engagement.

Maybe she meant she only broke off engagement, not actually ending their relationship. Why would he be angry for her breaking off the engagement. They’ve had two years to marry & did not. IMO he’d have no trouble replacing BB.

I have a feeling if he had not ended up with Brittany, he would have found some other vulnerable woman with a young daughter. People like this know exactly what kind of women they can control. If she had gotten rid of him, he would have just moved on to someone else. Imo

He may not have noticed it was there til later. Blood could have transferred from a part of the basket as he was lifting. I'll sometimes put my basket on my hip as I'm opening my door to the laundry room. He may have done the same as he walked out to the vehicle. I'd like to know if they found those clothes anywhere. I wonder if he called BB, about the cleaning spree, after the time stamp on that vid. I bet he knew it was there. That's why he tossed that cleaning spree into the conversation.

Sometimes people mix a little truth with the lies they tell. Maybe they did have that conversation, and maybe he was cleaning.... but maybe he was cleaning their mess. if you know what I mean.... MOO

I think when QX mentioned that DV sent BB "disturbing" text messages after the "fight" that happened just before she flew to MA (if it happened), that is when the aunt (not sure which one, seems likely to be CD's sister who has older brother now) came by to pick up him and Maleah (and DV told her Maleah was sick). I know there is reference to this incident on SM but I think it has also been discussed elsewhere when MSM was reporting that Maleah was sick last week.

Anyway, that's when BB SHOULD have called 911 to get her kids the hell away from DV but I think she had a glimmer of fear for them when she saw the text messages and called the aunt to go get them instead. Too little too late.

I think this means LE should be talking to the aunt about what BB told her and why she wanted her to help the kids (can't have seemed too urgent though if she didn't push back on DV refusing to let her see Maleah -- or he's really scary). It also might reveal that the 5-year-old brother was present in the apartment during whatever happened.

No, if she didn't have someone safe to give the kids to while she was gone, she should have cancelled the trip. Period-End-Of-Story. This is why as Gitana pointed out, she may face legal charges. I know there were things said in the QX pressor that LE would never have released at this point in the case. But in essence, she offered herself up on a silver plate in terms of culpability. I'm still shaking my head over what she admitted in that interview, absolutely nuts!

I am getting an abused vibe for some reason over here. Protecting your child is one thing, but I think he did stuff to her too.

If he was abusive to mom, it could explain a couple things. When a woman says they are leaving an abusive situation, that can be the point in time where the violence escalates. Maybe she did break it off, and he took it out on M. Many times if a victim breaks it off with an abuser, seeking counseling will help them to learn the signs, and avoid another one. Otherwise, many times they will walk back into another one (note CPS cases w/the first relationship, and this relationship seems to have been very unstable). Abusers do have a powerful control over their victims. Just a theory.

Thanks! The video I posted starts at the 5:00 mark on the FB video you posted. It's kind of weird but the first 5 minutes is nearly identical to the last five minutes. IOW, at 5:00 he starts over again, almost verbatim. In the first part though he does go a little more into DV sneaking Maleah back to the apartment when she was supposed to be at daycare, in order to allegedly molest her.

So... the burning questions are still unanswered. If BB broke off the relationship why did DV have Maleah while she was in Mass.? Why was he planning on picking her up from the airport after saying "disturbing" things to her? Why didn't she call her mom to go get Maleah and the boy after? Why didn't the aunt insist on getting Maleah? Did mom not say it was important? Why was she still wearing her engagement ring? Is she still?

Her timeline is just as hinky as DV's IMO.

I hate to even say this but a little something to share here if anyone is interested-

I wondered about the laundry basket and the way Derion carried it, if that would look right if someone was carrying 30-40 pounds in the basket (I believe Maleah's weight was estimated to be 30-40 pounds).

So I just asked my husband to carry four of his ten-pound barbell weights in a laundry basket to compare. His arm position etc. did look just about like Derion's did. Which is not to say Derion was carrying her body in the laundry basket of course but that by his posture etc., he could have been, that's all.

Then it was 'stepfather', 'boyfriend', and also msm mentioned 'common law husband'.
Not to mention 'baby daddy'. But I digress.
Why ? Because that's what either BB said herself or msm was told that.
So I have serious credibility issues with this BB.
Which one is it ?
