I misunderstood the post. It was the lawyer who asked to be excused.
yeah I knew that but the wording threw me off too

Beautifully written!Seeing this sad memorial on the side of the highway breaks my heart into a million pieces. That Ty Beanie Boos Peanut elephant nestled in the dried grass where our precious baby girl was found represents more love for Maleah from a total stranger than her egg donor (BB) and her self-proclaimed caregiver (DV) ever provided during her short life IMO.
Although I had no doubt what the eventual outcome of this tragic case would be, when our sweetheart's tiny remains were finally found I felt such a deep sense of sorrow for beautiful Maleah, a deep sense of loss for a future life that she will never experience.
I watched the video of the plane bringing Baby Girl home last night. As the plane approached the runway, I was overcome with grief for little Maleah and at the same I recognized that a beautifully Sacred Act was taking place - the beginning of restoration for Maleah.
Thank You to the Investigators who have tirelessly worked this case. Thank You Tim Miller, Thank You Quanell X. Thank You to all of you who lovingly escorted Baby Girl home where she can now be laid to rest with Dignity and where she can now receive Justice.
I will always remember precious Maleah offering that sweet gift of the red rose we've all seen in the photograph. I will always see her sharing that stick of chewing gum with her Daddy and the happy smile on her darling face.

I'm not sure why he wouldn't throw BB under the bus in that case, personally.if DV was going to leave BB for another woman...……
whats the saying? hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
BB was at emotional breaking point Tuesday.
something is really out with the picture we have been feed.
I am suspicious Maleah died while BOTH BB and DV were at the apartment.
at whos hand. still think its questionable.
only part I think is fact to date, DV cleaned up and did the disposal.
all speculative and my personal opinion
Actually, not asking inmate any details about the case is usually what defense lawyers ask of both the family and client. All conversations are recorded. Not sure why Attorney saying this is inaccurate, unless it's because this was CPS testimony with gag order. MOO
yes it is a spanner in the thought but I think its still coming.I'm not sure why he wouldn't throw BB under the bus in that case, personally.
Bingo....me too.....kinda feeling sorry for her, unless she was in on it.It sounds like DV's relationship with his mistress was more serious, rather than casual.
I'm beginning to think that the mistress may have driven him to the hospital. It sort of makes sense.
DV gets rid of the body overnight, comes back to his apartment early evening. Leaves after a few hours. Goes to his mistress who drops him off and abandons the car at a parking lot.
BB's message to him in one of the earlier interview kind of fits the narrative.
“You hid from me and you left me. I have no feelings for that man. I don't have no feelings for him at this point. He was the last person to see my daughter. I seen you when you came home. You didn't say anything to me. I stood up for you. I wanted to believe your story,”

What does that even mean? They hadn’t paid judge? Never mind, figured it out!Hahaha! That one got me too, MsBetsy.
Bad sentence: He also asked the judge to be removed from the case Wednesday because the family has not paid him.
Better: On Wednesday, DV's lawyer asked to be removed from the case because DV's family has not paid him.
Priorities. It sounds like DV's relationship with his mistress was more serious, rather than casual.

Hmm.. so the photo of alive Maleah taken while BB in MA exist. Like QX said in one of the interview (when he was defending BB). I didn't believe him then, but I do now. I think he knows a lot more.Potential witness claims she saw Derion Vence's car in Arkansas when Maleah Davis went missing Potential witness claims she saw Derion Vence's car in Arkansas when Maleah Davis went missing via @KHOU
From the link:
For a month, Houston Police detectives wondered about Vence’s whereabouts between Friday, May 3 and late Saturday, May 4.
A photo given to KHOU 11 News by a law enforcement source showed Maleah with Vence outside their apartment that Friday.
That is where the gap begins.
If the remains flown to Houston for DNA tests prove to be Maleah’s, investigators know Vence spent at least five-and-a-half hours on the road, crossed state lines in Arkansas, then stopped along the highway in Fulton.
Did he then go north to St. Louis where he grew up? Or did Vence drive back south? Authorities do not yet know. Either drive leaves 10-14 hours unaccounted.
“(Vence) has a lawyer,” Sgt. Mark Holbrook of the Houston Police Department said. “So he’s not going to talk to us until his lawyer wants him to and if he won’t talk to us we’ll have to see what happens at trial.”
At some point, Vence received scrapes to his forehead. Also, he had cuts and wounds to his body, according to photos Vence’s father shared with a blogger last month.
