The following KENS links to article and YouTube video are an interview with his family. They say:
He went for a walk on the Leon Creek Greenway trail system, as he often does. His family searched the trails and found a pile of his clothes, his shoes, and snacks he likes to eat.
Police searched the area, but didn't find anything else. Police asked family for their DNA.
He was last seen on a neighbors surveillance camera. It is shown in the video.
In his spare time he goes out to clean the community and feed the homeless.
