Thanks, Juliana and Elberethe! Sounds promising!

I have been checking this forum for so long just waiting for this day. It is so sad when a crime like this one goes unsolved. I am so glad they arrested someone. I had suspected the ex but I am glad it isn't him for the child's sake.

The article says evidence at the scene links this guy to the crime. I wonder if his blood was found at the scene. I am also wondering if this was just a crime of opportunity and that this guy did not know the victim. I wonder if they searched this guy's apartment and found her Rolex or if he had pawned it...

Fantastic news! Even though I don't post here often, I always check in for updates hoping that this crime would be solved.

From what I have read it sounded like a robbery, but a source at DR Horton is saying she knew him. Once I find out how (and if this is correct) I will update!

i have heard that the brother-in-law says sara did not know the suspect, yet if DR Horton is saying that she did, this must mean they are somehow related through work. maybe he was a construction worker and therefore known to DR Horton. i tell you if she did not know him in any way and this was totally random it will scare a lot of people! i am glad they have made an arrest in this case. apparently they got a lot of tips after they released his pic and car description to the public. there is a reward offered in this case.

If she knows him, I was thinking he could have been a construction worker also. He doesn't quite fit her criteria as an acquantince. I thought maybe he could have been a prospect as well. Maybe he had been in at one time and seen her. The thing that gets me is she just bought the Rolex. Was it a coincident that it happened the next day???

Just heard from my DR Horton friend this was rumored to be someone she met on her millionaire dating website. I guess in the next couple of days we will find out if this is true or not.

I have some exclusive info here:

http://crimeblog.us/?p=95

Kosoul93 was his screen name. He was an Asian gangbanger when he was arrested for a violent abduction and robbery in 1997. He just got out of jail in February of this year, and was online in nothing flat.

He sure loved that white Ford Mustang.

Chanthakoummane worked at one time for VitecOnline, which appears to be an office supply business. Could he have made a delivery to the house where Sarah was stationed, then started stalking her? Question worth asking.

this is great news!!...i'm glad LE got the guy....i wouldn't be a bit surprised if Sarah somehow met this guy off the internet....will be interesting to learn the details...

On the news it was said that she didn't know him. Who knows though. He could have been in a place that she was in and seen the expensive jewlery that she wore and followed her to see where she lived and then to where she worked. LE figures the attack intended as a burglery. He did take her new watch and a ring?

It was said that DNA at the scene matched his and then there where people that had seen him around that area and had called LE. Sounds like when they got the DNA results back they knew who their guy was. So glad he is in jail. I wonder why he thought he had to stab her so many times....because she fought him and it ticked him off? I thought it must have been someone that knew her because of the numerous stab wounds. Talk about over kill.

I heard on the radio this morning that another RE Agent in the area contacted LE after seeing the sketch of the suspect. She said he knocked on her door, wanting to use the telephone, after his car supposedly broke down. He ended up not using the phone - she said he was afraid of her dog. I can't imagine how that lady feels - it could have been her that was killed instead of Sarah (or in addition to Sarah) if it was in fact the same guy. Scary!!!

I wonder what kind of dog she had. A mastiff? LOL!

Sounds to me like everyone who works in Real Estate should either carry a gun in their pocket, work in two's, or have a big dog with them at all times. It's to dangerous showing houses alone even during the day time. This case would haunt me if I worked in Real Estate. Even if it is a couple that make an appointment the male could end up coming alone or the couple could be just as dangerous as a lone person.

You are right. I used to sell real estate and more than once I found myself in very vulnerable situations that were scary.

I just read that the reason they are not releasing more information in this case is that they don't want to risk a change of venue. They want the case tried in Collin County where the jury pool will consist of more people living an upscale likestyle similar to the victim's.

there was also a case in austin TX where a woman was murdered after a man came to the door inquiring abo ut her house that was for sale. then, a few years later, he was at it again-- he called a realtor to meet him at a vacant house, and because the woman was very sensitive to the bad vibes coming from these kinds of creeps, she sensed something very wrong.. and stayed 12 ft away from him, never went into the same room.
he wanted to go upstairs behind her & she kept saying, "no, after you" and she was able to keep her distance-- all the time being courteous- but the way she described it, it was as if she knew what he was up to, and he knew she knew. she said "it's getting dark, we'll have to come back another day".. and so they left, and then he kept calling her & she said she couldn't come back to meet him.. and he became angry & said "don't you think if i was gonna do something i would have done it by now?" to which she said "i don't know, i don't know how the criminal mind works" after which he stopped calling her. she then alerted police & it turns out he was the same guy who killed the woman 2 yrs before. she was then a key witness in the murder trial.. and of course she sent the information to all her realtor friends & everyone else she could.
i'm sending this along because it's always good to be able to spot the sketchy behavior of these psycho men out there.. and to all you female realtors-- i know you gotta make a living, but you should never, EVER go meeting a strange man by yourself!!! have a partner, or something-- just don't do it. it's not worth it.
