Yes it happened so fast I am leaning towards robbery being the intent of the accused. 4 minutes would also include him going and informing his dad and getting him to agree.
I can’t imagine how no one heard two people being shot near a suburban home.

around the holidays we had more pop pops with fireworks where I live so people may be immune to the sounds . I know though if you know what you are hearing you can tell the difference....

Perp walks are pretty much a thing of the past. (Although they still exist in small towns. Uvalde PD posted everyone on FB..even massage parlor prostitutes..and these weren't just mugshots either. These were arrest videos. It seemed archaic to me. They stopped doing it in the wake of the mass school shooting )

With all eyes on San Antonio, with infamous suspects on video, they decided to hold one for this case.

The information about Savannah calling her mother Friday morning to remind her to not be late to the hospital must be incorrect. I would attribute that to bad reporting. Likely pulling stuff from Social Media to get a story.

I don't think they had been pinging her phone until after the bodies were found, then the saw it pinged at the danny kaye location just after the Charlie Chan location.

She was reported missing, though. Would they not have tried to ping her phone earlier? Maybe the battery died during the hours immediately after they were shot, though, before they were reported missing.

MOO and speculation: The perp is a 19-yr-old violent drug dealer with a gun, brought up in the toxic stew of violent San Antonio gang/drug/street culture with a mandate to shoot/kill anyone who "disrespects" you, which could vary from a perceived slight, to being ripped off in a deal, to eliminate anyone considered a threat...or if you think any one of those things might be true...and/or you have a hair-trigger temper from too much meth or whatever, were high when it all went down...with zero consideration of the consequences of murdering two people, one of them a pregnant woman, which will be spending the rest of his miserable life in prison.

I'd also point out, raised by a (MOO) criminal dad, who came immediately when called for help...and reported nothing to the police.

I'd guess there could be more serious charges pending for the dad, but I don't think he would be considered an accomplice under Texas law at this point.

I'm only a humble google lawyer. Can a real lawyer or law adjacent person chime in on whether he could be considered an accessory or something else since it he did help conceal the murder.

Perp was a recent HS graduate (2023) living in nice, middle class Brady Bunch home on a quiet street. Heck, I would not be surprised if he didn't have gang affiliations.

In other words, they arrived at Chris's house at 11:50. Within four minutes, they were killed and being taken to the apartments. Five minutes later, both vehicles are seen on video at the apartment. It happened fast.

It appears Savanah was likely shot in the Kia and Matthew was likely shot in the suspect's driveway not far from his vehicle. MOO

Chris was a 2023 graduate of John Marshall HS at Northside ISD. The class graduation video is on YouTube. Chris did not receive much of an applause when walked across the stage. He makes a motion for applause, but there wasn't. (Applause is a big thing here. It is generally a family generated thing)

It's too bad the time when Savannah searched for the location of Charlie Chan drive wasn't given. That would maybe tell us if the murders occurred at the residence or else where. It's open to interpretation whether or not CP might have driven the KIA himself to the Charlie Chan Dr residence at 23:50 after the murder occured and within four minutes of arriving the vehicle was then leaving to the Danny Kaye location to dump the car at 23:24.

IMO, four minutes just doesn't seem like enough time for CP to have met up with MG and SS, discuss a drug deal which turns bad, killed them both, get MG into the back seat, then get his dad and likely the two of them figure out what to do and where to dump the bodies and car and then the the two of them leave to dump the car arriving a few minutes later when seen on video at 23:59 at Danny Kaye.


I'm leaning toward killed elsewhere and CP either showed up in the KIA to the Charlie Chan location to get dad. Maybe there was a phone call between CP and RP in that time prior to arriving at the residence on Charlie Chan to speed things along.

Yes, that is also a possibility.

However, she did search Charlie Chan as opposed to a park etc.
This indicates they intended to meet at CP's home.

Also Savannah's phone should have pinged other places too...

CP may have had his phone off, but he doesn't seem that bright. Maybe they are obtaining a warrant for his phone records too.
