A development in MSM reporting - the Sun UK has published this ring doorbell footage verifying that it is the home of SS and MG, 20 hours before they went missing.

<modsnip: discussing material not found at the link provided>

I think LE are drip feeding, they know exactly what happened and who did this IMÓ JMO

I'm wondering how possible it is that the car seat is part of the narrative - ie, they went to someone or somewhere to purchase or collect it? Or have it correctly fixed in? Knowing that they would be going to the hospital for induction the next day. A last minute task in getting everything in place for the birth?

Was it a lure ? Why didn't SS take her phone though?

<modsnip: posting non verified social media rumors>
I don’t recall hearing anything about the car seat being purchased earlier or maybe it was a gift from the baby shower? Maybe “someone” came by to give it to them? It’s odd SS didn’t take her phone, but unless they were quickly putting the car seat in the car, did she really need it? Did she go with MG on other occasions for deals etc.? I don’t think she had a choice and they were forced,
I think people were waiting for them in the parking lot near their car.

The Sun UK is a mainstream media source and therefore their information counts as verified. It states the footage is from 20 hours before SS & MG disappeared.

The footage shows an agitated tall young black male and a friend opening the door of the apartment and entering in - he is making remarks about SS. The door remains open and we can clearly see the people inside the apartment, one of whom may well be SS. There is clearly some form of verbal dispute and some of it can be clearly heard.

LE will have had all this footage right from the off and I'm sure the neighbour is deep in witness protection. JMO MOO

Maybe this is it - they left the apartment to meet someone down at street level or in the parking lot for a minute. Having said that, in her state of heavy pregnancy, even just doing that would be difficult as it involves stairs and no elevator seemingly. In any circumstances she wouldn't have been able to run away. One would imagine on the day before being induced, a person would be sitting at home with their feet up counting down the minutes to holding their baby and not going anywhere. So what lured her out of the house?

Just some thoughts but maybe SS didn't take her phone so she couldn't be traced if they were going to either do a deal or have a difficult conversation with someone higher in a gang, they might have been ordered not to bring a phone except a burner?

As for perplexing I wonder if as LE initially thought they were looking for a murder / suicide? Or maybe they weren't shot in the car then the scene would not be covered in spatter, which would be confusing. I'm not an expert in ballistics but I've always thought even with a small handgun the exit blows a huge hole and is horrific for example when people take their own lives, small hole in the front and then the rest all blown up. Wouldn't that car be full of blood and spray and pieces of skull?

Also the driver, I think they tried to exit the vehicle to run or leave, why they have the door swung open far before the actual meet up? I think they wanted to get out and leave and the big man pushed or ordered them back in but then they only dump the car not much further round the corner. Maybe they were supposed to take it elsewhere and failed to continue? I imagine everyone involved's life is now at risk as they're all witness against one another who could potentially give evidence.
They're both street smart, they wouldn't have fallen for that kind of ruse of not bringing a phone i dont thinK! Jmo

Regarding the bolded part: I have a strong feeling they were killed elsewhere and placed in car. also my opinion!!

This woman was overdue. No one just gave them a car seat that day. Her overnight bag was packed. Everything was ready to go to the hospital in the last weeks.

MG has been described as tall.
I would be interested in knowing if the driver's seat of the KIA had been moved from its position.

Good point. You guys have brought up very interesting possibilities

Possibilities from different posters so far:

*A girl was the buyer and Savanah insisted on coming

*Someone gifted them car seat so Savanah came to the door to get the gift - maybe Mathew came out afterwards when she didn't come back within like 10 mins? - this is why phone and purse are inside

*They were both riding to a deal

*They were kidnapped from the home and put in a vehicle (neighbor said heard screaming and saw car driving away) this is why phone and purse are inside

*Go out for a deal, person they're meeting is a "friend" who asks if Savanah can come so they can give her present (I do not think it's the car seat as her mama described her as totally ready & prepared for baby, and anyone who's been pregnant can tell you that they have the car seat ready before their water breaks/they go to hospital etc) - her own brother described her as "sometimes materialistic" so I do feel a "big present for the baby" could lure her

*Maybe someone she knew was trouble was coming to buy from her bf so she insisted on going because she knew they wouldn't kill a 9 mos pregnant lady (not a good idea but hey she's 18... i wasnt a genius at that age)

*Someone they trusted came over and totally tricked them... they could've been put up to it and not had a choice or they would've been killed to, OR they were a wolf in sheep's clothing

*Cartel (unlikely imo, cartel tend to leaves bodies where they lie when shot, and they don't go drop off cars and etc etc in all my 15+ years following cases)

*An idea I just had... maybe someone was watching their apartment, waiting for them to come outside in case they had ring camera or whatever they were waiting and watching from a distance. Mathew & Savanah come out and hop in the car maybe for one last dinner together before they have their son? (God that's so sad to think about) Savanah doesn't bring purse or phone by accident maybe, and Mathew has his wallet to pay, so she just feels that's whatever.and the person comes over with a gun to their driver or passenger side and gets in, directs them where to go.

... Mathew would've driven wherever they wanted to try and save his pregnant gf I feel, yes he is an abusive partner - his dad said he really was trying to turn it around, treat her better, and he was REAL excited to have a son and someone to carry his family name. I feel protective instincts would've kicked in. I imagine, if he could, and had any real love in his heart, he'd beg them to take savanah home first and maybe perp(s) got irritated with that. Idk just brainstormng

Did I miss anything?

Yes! Charming I love your posts. I tend to agree with everything you say!!

Totally agree regarding driver's seat. Maybe they were going somewhere and perp came with a gun to their car and ordered mathew in the backseat and they drove.

It's rare I see a case where I am scared to know what actually happened here. I want more details but also I don't. IF that makes any sense...

Honestly, I think the killers were lying in wait. I also think there were two of them.

I think it’s highly possible that the two went to the car to install the car seat and were ambushed.

It would explain the candle burning, not taking a phone or purse.

Just a hunch. Nothing concrete to suggest this.

MOO

still no arrest, this is so perplexing.
I myself am shocked there is no arrest yet. I would imagine such a crime makes the PD work very hard bc they have families of their own and this was a massacre of a family just about to begin. Its heartwrenching, and you'd have to be coldblooded to not feel something for this case, ya know? Im sure they are working day & night on this one... maybe bring the FBI or NASA or even Target (No joke! PDs have brought in Target security specialists to enhance footage bc they're extremely skilled, it is wild!) to enhance the video and try to catch a license plate!!

i agree... mathew would've installed the car seat but savanah maybe came out to make sure it was up to her safety standards

A few things I’ve been thinking about. If both MG and SS were shot “somewhere else/not in the car” and moved back into their car, they would had to do so within a timeframe before rigor mortis sets in. The bodies would be stiff and difficult to move. The Kia driver could have been wearing a mask/scarf over their face due to the odor of the bodies beginning to decompose. If temperatures are cool, it slows the process down, if warm, it speeds things up. The ME would be able to determine the time of death, or close to it, which is important to LE. Not a pleasant topic at all, but thought it was worth bringing up.
They would've definitely had time! Rigor mortis appears approximately 2 hours after death in the muscles of the face, progresses to the limbs over the next few hours, completing between 6 to 8 hours after death. [10] Rigor mortis then stays for another 12 hours (till 24 hours after death) and then disappears.
Interesting i didnt know it disappears

Sorry for my posts in. a row... I woke up thinking about this :(

Unless they had friends and family along on car trips in the back seat, I don't see them just putting the car seat in the KIA that morning.
SS is overdue.
They were locked and loaded, ready to go.
No one is going to struggle with buckling a car seat into a vehicle at the very last minute.
And I've never had a baby.

Why do you think SS left her phone in the apartment?

Someone came to the door.
Whether she was told not to bring it or was not close to it, I'm not sure.
Candle burning, phone not on her person, go bag and purse left behind.
Someone made her/them leave the apartment not under her/their will.
MG may have already been at the car.
Moooooo.

It’s been over a week since LEO gave any type of update. Wonder what this means? The council person is vested because of their allocation of funds to help LEO.

Wonder when we will get another update.

Many car seats have a detachable carrier - I suspect that's what was on top of Savanah. I agree that the car seat was already installed.

Possibly, but wouldn’t they be afraid of being heard/seen or caught on video? SS left home or was heard at 2pm, I don’t know if her mom said this? Someone else mentioned this, SS may left to go to the car and was met by others etc. MG came out due to her delay. I don’t think SS would have left her phone behind and candle burning purposely. Or as stated by others MG went out, SS went to find out what was taking so long, could be the why phone was left and candle burning, she thought she would be right back. I think the candle was a memorial candle, they burn for many hours (again, someone else pointed this out). I honestly think the candle is a clue and means something, not a red herring. I may be totally wrong, but it doesn’t add up, all of this is moo.
