Ok, if true, this changes things in a big way. We're talking a likely execution style double murder at a separate location, and their bodies being dumped in the vehicle afterwards:

Crime scene details​

Soto's brother, Jordan Corona, told CBS News that police told him there was no weapon found at the scene, and that both Guerra and Soto were shot in the back of the head.

Laura Cordova said a detective told her that Guerra was found slumped over in the backseat of the vehicle, and that Soto was in the front.

Soto was holding a car seat, according to her mother.

"She had the car seat on her lap, so she was going to the hospital," Gloria Cordova said.

Police have said that the car might have been at the location where it was found "possibly for three or four days."

Mom says pregnant Texas teen found shot to death with boyfriend "was just there at the wrong time"

Savanah Nicole Soto's family said the pregnant teen was in a "rocky" relationship but was excited about having the baby.

I haven't seen the presser but this report from NBC stated that LE said there was "no ongoing threat to the public", which normally implies no other party involved or any POIs are in custody. Slain pregnant teen and her boyfriend each had a gunshot wound, San Antonio police say

Kind of a big guy in that video getting out of the truck. Can see how large of a stomach he has. Shouldn't be to hard to figure him out. Has something in his hand when he gets back into the truck.

Unquestionably a straight up homicide investigation:

On 12/26/23, two victims were found deceased in a vehicle at the 5900 block of Danny Kaye. The Medical Examiner’s office identified one of the victims as 22-year old Matthew Guerra. The second victim has yet to be named, but is identied as a full-term pregnant female. Below is video footage taken from a nearby location of where the bodies were found.
In the video, are two persons of interest, one driving a dark colored pickup truck, the other driving the victims’ Silver Kia Optima.
Anyone with any information on this dark colored pickup truck, with a bed cover, or the two persons of interest seen in this video, is encouraged to call SAPD Homicide at (210) 207-7674 or (210) 207-7440. You can remain anonymous when providing any information on this case.

Yup. This was very likely a personal crime, meaning one or both knew their assailants. Track down their associates and find the truck connected to a very large man.

In the long term, the driver of the Kia could very well have left touch dna in that vehicle…

Chief indicated that although the manner of death in regards to Matthew is not determined, he clearly doesn’t believe it’s a murder/suicide.
