Poor sweet darling. Just dreading what news is next.

All this activity from LE seems to lean towards them thinking it's not a stranger abduction. I'm not sure how much I can say without TOS, but probably suspicion is all in house. Is that what others are getting too?

I am starting to wonder....that poor little girl

Just reading on fox news that the police have officially called off the search for her, just trying to figure how to link that to here.
All three family cars have been towed away.

I’m going to go ahead and say that sadly, I have a terrible feeling it’s going to be really bad. Parents vehicles towed...and the story just does not add up. There is no stranger abduction, IMO. They know where she is...it’s just a matter of time. Poor sweet baby...there is a lot more to this story. The minute I read he saw her at 3am but waited 5 hours to alert police, alarms started going off. Heartbreaking.

That is not a good sign at all. My heart aches right now for that little girl.

I hadn't seen this about Sherin being adopted, may be completely irrelevant. I wonder how long they've had her?
Neighbors and church members arrived to family’s home in support. They say Sherin was adopted.
“She’s not talking. She’s unable to talk at this point,” said Mary Easow, who attends church with the family. “We all were praying for her upbringing and normal route.”

This is not good at all. Sweet girl, where are you?

Does anyone else find it odd that she was 3 ft tall and only weighed 22 pounds?

Good point. Though may be due to developmental issues, although in that photo she does not look so dimunitive. 22 pounds, seems very very light for her age as well.
edited to add: maybe a mistake in info passed by the parents, or in reporting?

Sherin being that small, it would not take much for the wrong person to do something horrible to her.

I feel so sick right now.

That's what I was thinking as well. Her picture definitely shows a much healthier child than what I would imagine one would appear at 36 inches and 22 lbs.

Out of curiosity - all the news articles describe her as being Asian. In my part of the world, if someone saw that without a picture, they would assume East Asian (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc.) as opposed to South East Asian (Indonesian, Singaporean, Malaysian, etc.). I would have been looking for a kid with totally different features! What about in Texas, where Sherin is from?

Maybe the disability qualifies her for the AA? I'm not sure how all of that works.
ETA: I smell fish. Very large fish.

3am in the backyard? Why didnt her father bring her inside? Waited hrs before contacting LE. Something is very wrong here.

There is a very large Indian population in this area, also. Looking at her picture, I would guess that she is Indian. (Stating the obvious here lol, but India is in South Asia.) I'm glad there are pictures with cases like these, because "Asian" covers so many different characteristics. Quite a vague description if you ask me.

I think if it was a family/friends get together they would have said already. This is just to sketchy for me and i wonder if she was being punished.

How long has she been living with the adoptive parents? Could the bio parents have taken her? I know it's a long shot, but I don't want to think that something worse has happened. :(
