I don't understand why a 4Faith plate would be on the rear of any vehicle. Wasn't it a generic plate that would have been intended for anyone to be able to purchase? I don't think it was a plate that one person would have. And, wouldn't a rear plate require a particular one that would display a number that could be traced to one owner?
I guess it isn't available anymore. It is not shown as an option at the Texas DMV site though they do have Calvary Hill plates.

Edit to add: never mind. Now I see the plates are issued as "under God" plates, not 4FAiTH. So... maybe one owner could end up with this plate. This is VERY WEIRD! One person ends up with the same plate that is used as the example on the Texas Values website that announces that the plates are now available? WHAT?
Unless I have totally lost my mind and misunderstood who this or these plates were made available to... I think this 4FAITH plate on the car in the video is a fake!!

Can you please post the original capture you processed to get those " tags"..? If you have so "clear" pictures of the tags, you may have a "clear" picture of the bumper sticker as well?
Thank you.

They lived in a town outside of Austin. His company Texas Rock Hounds was located there. If they have moved, not sure. I think it says Cuero,Tx. I'm not local but I do remember seeing this back in April.

Texas requires a front & back plate, matching. The two plates, grainy as they are, don't appear the same. It would not make sense for vanity or specialty plates to be on a vehicle nvolved in a planned crime. But, with this case, it sure does make sense that SP would have put fake plates on.
They would not have driven far that way though, I'm sure. MOO

Just went and saw Patriot Days (based on the Boston Marathon bombing).
1. Incredible. It will move you (I know some of the characters are created. Lighten up.)
2. You can see a little bit of the resources and capabilities of the FBI (it shows a bit of the interaction between some of the agencies something we havent explored or been privy to). What the feds are working with dwarfs the local resources. They showed some of the FBIsvideo analytical equipment. LE knows more than we think about the MB case. And are strategic in releasing it, if they had access to that level of equipment.
3. The key to catching the two perps was investigativespeed, getting enough resources (personnel, expertise, equipment) to the scene. And of course, this is a way bigger case (global implications), so its apples and oranges.
4. Interestingly, the specific methodology of identifying (and ultimately capturing) the terrorists was to find the perp(s)out of place or acting suspiciously near the crime scene, then using CCTV of all the nearby businesses and cell phones, and working their way back to where there would be a clear enough picture of them. Wahlberg (star of the show) had enough knowledge of where the surveillance cameras in his district were, where they were pointed, and the natural current of the area (which way would people most likely come from), he eventually directed his techies to a good shot of them. And then enlisted the publics help.
5. I dont know if its too late, but it seemsthat methodology seems like it might work. They immediately collected hundreds of videos (not knowing which onestheyd need). In a murder case, people generally are willing to assist and hand over their CCTV video and not need search warrants (I would think). Midlo at 4 a.m. has 1/100 the people of Boston around noon, that potentially simplifies the task.
6. We need to give our LE the best equipment, weapons, and resources possible. That will determine success or failure. And we cant afford to have them fail.
7. The courage and bravery were spotlighted. I know some of us have grown impatient with the time frame of the investigation but I received a new perspective of what they are sometimes faced with (life and death situations). Wow. Hats off.
Police are rarely in a position to see both the front and rear plates, much less check to see if they match. I've been pulled over several times this past year and have yet to have a police officer bother to go to the front of my vehicle to check to see if it matched my rear plate. Given the many things they already look for (expired registration, weapons, drugs, etc) I'm doubtful this ranks very high on the to-do list.
