And while I'm at it, CT is a very smart woman. Would she really use equipment that is clearly on her husbands Facebook page and stuff he uses all the time that looks similar? I just don't think someone who put this whole thing together would use something that would be found in their home.

What difference would that have made? Even if they did drive-bys they wouldn't have discovered anything before the campers did IMO. Resources are limited and I'm guessing that a workout on a church lawn is pretty low priority at any time of day.

If anything the church should have made sure all of their cameras were working and that they had cameras outside capturing all the doors and windows on the exterior of the building, IMO.

Idk. A bunch of house wives and males working out in a parking lot while starting a set up at 4am should be a cause for a police drive by. Especially if there was nothing from dispatchers that night.

Jmo. Thats all. Not blaming LE.

Thanks though.

The gear on AJT's walls is not the same type of gear the suspect wore.

I hate that locals and others are having to step back. It's hard because this case has us all so involved, but the post come so quickly that we get lost very fast. I can't wait another day for an arrest.

What I don't understand and why after reading LE say that no one listed is a suspect, the continuation of the CT thing is so difficult to keep trying to make it fit. Yes I am all to familiar with the tactics LE takes but gracious me, attempting to place CT there (IMO) doesn't fit.

MOO

The fact that it's a group of people that includes males makes it less of a reason for a patrol IMO. Lots of people there to call police if something were to happen, and they are less of a target in the first place because they're a big group that includes males. This was either a bad coincidence (interrupted robbery) or a targeted attack on MB, so it had nothing to do with campers being vulnerable early in the morning IMO. This is not likely to ever happen again at an early morning workout IMO.

I believe LE are deliberately piling on the pressure with the person they believe is responsible for the murder. They will be advising the family on how to communicate with the media & I think the message from BB's mother was another pressurising tactic. The way she stated that the killer should confess now so as to save their family lasting damage of seeing them arrested. Also her word: "waiting...", making it clear its just a matter of time. I can understand the posters here worried about unjustly accusing someone & trying to work out the truth without pointing the finger at someone who could be totally innocent is a fine line to walk.

I hope you are right
That report earlier on didn't give me a lot of faith that LE will be making an arrest anytime soon.

How about a bicycle (esp. a mountain bike)? Wouldn't be hard to ride a bike to a parked car somewhere. A bike is small and quiet, and perp wouldn't have to worry about anyone hearing an engine, writing numbers from a car tag, etc.

Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk

Well, riding a bike off road in the dark, in the rain would not be likely. Because the bike would get stuck in the mud, and it would be almost impossible to see in the dark. That would mean that he would have had to ride on the shoulder of the highway. As it was, he would have probably had time to ride the bike out of the area before police arrived. But he would have had no way of knowing that. If the arriving police saw a bike leaving the area, they would likely have stopped and questioned the rider. Also if they set up a perimeter, they would have likely stopped a bike at the road block.

Trying to escape on a bike might have been slightly less risky then trying to walk away from the crime scene, but still would not be the escape method that most people would choose. The suspect would have wanted to be able to get out of the area as fast as possible, before arriving LEOs could notice him.

Hey guys- as I've said, I'm local to the area.

I'm going to have to take a step back from this case. It's making me a bit neurotic and I am really uncomfortable with the way things are going in regards to CT/AJ. I was convinced of CT's involvement up until about 12 hours ago. Most locals seem to believe she is involved.

However, I just am not so sure anymore. I feel like perhaps we are all being played a bit, and that the T's involvement may have started out as a rumor that has since grown many legs and is taking off. The suggestion that LE is aware of these rumors and is utilizing them to further their investigation into someone else- without the public cluing in- is just disturbing to me. I'm uncomfortable with the direction this is going, especially with screenshots being taken from here and posted on FB. I feel a little bit dirty right now. :(

We have so little facts at this time. I think I'll check in now and again but refrain from posting until something else is released or there is an arrest. I will stil check my in-box but i'm going to just sit on the sidelines for a bit.

I hear ya and feel the same. There's nothing that hasn't already been said multiple times so I'll sit with you until there is some actual news.
Lstiff, I'll try and keep on top of your cliff notes!

Behave.

What if the Perp was wearing a gopro and someone on the other end watching the video live and telling them where to go.

At the other end of what? A GoPro is a camera, not a communications device.

April 18:

Times in bold = suspect present in church

3:50 a.m. - Suspect first appears on video surveillance camera at Creekside Church of Christ

4:16 a.m. - Missy's pickup truck is shown on video surveillance driving into the church parking lot

4:20 a.m. - Missy appears on video surveillance camera walking into the church building

From this time on, the killer may or may not have been present at the church :

4:35 a.m. - Participant in Camp Gladiator fitness class arrives at the church

5:00 a.m. - Two 911 calls received from church

5:01 a.m. - Fire department dispatched

5:03 a.m. - Initial patrol officers dispatched

5:07 a.m. - Fire department arrives to the church

5:10 a.m. Officers arrive at the church

To be at the church at around 3:50am the perpetrator had to have a good reason being out in a heavy rain that morning. Does he/she live by himself? Does he/she often leave the house that early? Does he/she return from work that late? That rain would almost require a vehicle in order not to show up wet allover and leaving puddles of water inside the building.

Sunday: 2.17" of rain Monday: 1.25" of rain.

https://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KJWY/2016/4/18/MonthlyCalendar.html

The early morning CG workouts for Monday were scheduled at :

5:00am @ C Church (crimescene)
4:45am in front of BoB, Midlothian, app 3 1/2 miles from C Church
5:00am at 617 7th Str, Midlothian, app 4 miles from C Church

It is possible, that the perpetrator is/was a participant of any of those early camps. That would give the individual a reason to be on the road that early. The killer would be able to make it to any of the 3 GC workout sites that morning, especially if the perp had speculative already left the C Church by the time the first camper arrived that morning at 4:35am. He could turn around and officially "arrive" at Creekside, or arrive at the BoB location, or proceed to the 7th Str site. Even if one or both of the other camps had been cancelled due to the weather, it could still play out for the perp, "Oh I did not know the camp was cancelled"..

Not saying that's what happened here. Just pointing out the possibilities.

Pardon me if this has been asked/answered a million times already. Why is there such a big time gap between first camper arriving and the first 911 call?

I hope you are right

Perhaps LE has the perfect strategy going, IDK, but it doesn't seem to be inspiring all that much confidence from the local populace that the killer will be found soon. It's pretty obvious that LE does not want any help from us or from other outsiders.

I think they may have been waiting outside until it was closer to the class start time

Can anyone help me out with finding something? I have searched and searched previous threads to no avail.
In one of the early threads someone posted a picture of an oblong light tan colored tool. It was somewhat 'Saran wrap box' shaped, but it wasn't a solid closed box. It had slot-like bends in it. I know I'm slaughtering the description of this, lol. I think it might have been a tool that electricians use or something like that. Grr. I don't like my aging memory.

Not sure which pic you are talking about, but, IMO the "saran wrap" is a level.

I can't go back and find it, but I did see it in this thread this morning . Maybe within the last twenty pages

Sorry, hope that helps

At the other end of what? A GoPro is a camera, not a communications device.

Actually a number of GoPros are WIFI-enabled communications devices. In fact with this thing you could set up a wireless waterproof battery-operated network of GoPros with up to 50 of them connected with a range of 600 feet:

While this explains how to set up WIFI live streaming with one of their newer models with the streaming going through your cell phone provider:
