I remember being really excited when we saw the still photo of the perp (posted by Sparky). Yes, we see this person is Caucasian- we can eliminate say- 50% of general population. Now it's a 50/50 chance of being male/female and now we are adding in a possible second perp. Wow, I'm just SMH- I don't know what we know and don't know anymore.
What I do know is that one by one people will be eliminated and MB's killer will be behind bars! When? I wish a month ago!

I write and eat with my left hand.

That is it.

Many folks would consider me left handed if they saw me eating and writing.

I do everything else right handed.

E.g. Shoot guns, bat, throw, bowl, use scissors, use a hammer, start a lawn mower. I even water Ski and snow ski as a right-handed person would with a dominant foot.

Just saying....

It's not the same as being ambidextrous

:giggle: I wonder if the nuns in Catholic school, when I was in first grade, failed me back in the early sixties when they tried to make everyone right-handed as to writing!

They did have those rulers back in those days and they did use them to smack your hands! ( for those that grew up at that time you will understand )

Same as me, you just don't smoke, presumably! But I AM left-handed. Could do other stuff w left hand but not as efficiently. We live in a right-handed world, so we adapted to it young, I think. Also, it is ambidexterity......I CAN write w my right hand, but its fairly sloppy.....most righties I know cannot write with their left hand. JMO...........lol the nuns never tried to change my writing preference.

Looks like a helmet adjustment to me. This clothing is not familiar to the SP and that helmet looks a bit cumbersome which is why I think they walked holding onto the wall for a few seconds of footage. MOO

Cool thanks for your input! Wasn't sure if I was seeing things or not lol.

I was doing some sleuthing earlier and I had a sudden flash of inspiration. I want to see if anyone has had a similar thought or if I'm way off base, but I don't want to break any rules. So I'm going to try to phrase my speculation in a way that hopefully respects the letter of the rules as well as the spirit.

I know there have been a lot of posts addressing potential motives. Like many of you, I think this crime seems very personal. So I think it's unlikely that this was random, connected to a burglary, or connected to some kind of criminal conspiracy or cover-up. Personally, I see controlled rage, perhaps even a sense of righteousness.

There was a wonderful post many threads back about what significance the costume could have to the perp. I'm very interested in the idea that the perp may have felt that they were on some kind of mission -- doing something that, in their universe, was right and just rather than wrong and horrific.

Working with these opinions in mind, I thought about some recent events and wondered, could Missy have been involved tangentially? This is not to bash the victim in any way, or to suggest that she actually did anything wrong. But what if the perp blamed Missy for something that happened to someone they loved? What if they felt that Missy was somehow representative of a passion or pastime they blamed for damaging their family, literally or metaphorically? Perhaps they even wanted to blame someone within the family, but felt unable to, so they transferred that rage to Missy for some reason?

I hope this is not so oblique that it doesn't make any sense, or so explicit that it breaks any rules. This is pure speculation on my part, based only on information that is publicly known. I'm not a local and I don't have any insider information; I'm merely speculating based on my own understanding of human behavior.

Yow! They had no peripheral vision with that get-up.....no wonder they were fondling the walls! ha ha JMO

What about closer to the building? If a car turned into the driveway, perhaps killed it's lights, and swing a wide berth around to the opposite end out of sight, would a camera from the church pick up the movement, even just a silhouette?

A camera somehow picked up both MB and camper 1's arrival to the church. Not entry, but arrival itself. Are the cameras motion activated by headlights, or by proximity, or not motion activated at all?

If LE were able to establish that a car would have to have been picked up as it came in, even if only the shadow of it, then that would enable them to know for sure whether the perp drove in from the front or didn't drive in at all.

Those are good questions, and reasonable to ask ...and I'm sure LE has explored them. But I don't know the answer, and I don't think anyone else other than LE does either.

We do know that one camera got a glimpse of perp coming, and the same or a different one saw MB arriving, and also camper 1. And we know that LE has said that, for some reason, the exterior cams at the church that night didn't record. But which cam(s) got those images (whether the Outdoors store, from far away in the rain, or whether some interior cam in the church getting a glimpse of the outside ...or even if one or more of the outdoor cams at church worked 100% and LE is keeping that a secret) we don't have any clue.

I suspect there is quite a bit more to be gleaned from the various cameras, positioning, what did or didn't record, and so on. IMO that would explain why they had reconstruction experts out there, to try to expertly cobble it all together into a more complete narrative to work from, including figuring out what might be indicated for when they didn't record. But imo we the public have too little knowledge to help at all in those areas, beyond what little can be added to the mix from examining the video we have been given.

To be specific ...
What about closer to the building? ....Don't know, requires info we haven't been given

Not being snarky, but we don't have enough info to even make a helpful guess.

when analyzing the total movements gait is one element; overall stride forward is with protruding belly; arms rest out ward at angle versus at side when at rest; lower leg movement noted to not have high calf flexion- stiff lower leg movement- in addition to clear splayed foot pattern. OVERALL my opinion classic for alcoholic presentation.

Doesn't mean not two. Misinformation put out there all the time by LE....

True! But a few sleuthers were pretty sure there is just one perp and in response, gave a MSM link to what LE said. I'll go ahead and delete it as to not cause confusion. I'm about 2 threads behind so I may have missed out on a discussion...

I'm begging for someone to answer this. Did MB enter the church only because the camp was going to be held indoors because of the weather? IF the camp was held outdoors or under the awning would there be reason for her to enter the church? TIA

I'm beginning to think the perp took quite a chance if this was planned. Missy could have had a weapon or mace. She could have brought a new trainer to show them the routine. A camper may have woke up early and decided to arrive early & help her set up. She could have brought one of her kids with her. Someone may have seen her car there at an odd hour & gone to investigate.

Maybe to use the bathroom. A poster said a short time ago that her trainer has a key to let people in to use the bathroom. Don't know if her trainer is with CG, though. JMO......my guess is no equipment stored in host venues.

BTW
I answered. Maybe wrong, though. JMO

Or, someone knew all the answers to those "ifs" JMO

BBM- didn't a fellow camper arrive at 4:30 and sit in their car???

FWIW if I use a hammer to drive a nail I do it with my left hand. If I use it to smash something to bits, I use my right. I am not sure we can gauge whether the perp is left or right handed based on these video clips.

Since I am ambidextrous, I think the perp would be considered right handed (predominantly) but is comfortable using both hands as needed.

Agree.He's highly impulsive. jmo

Forensic pathologist would probably note the angle of the gashes and conclude left or right handed blows. JMO
