The eyebrows look somewhat heavy and dark to me - not really arched - almost straight. The eyes are more narrow rather than large and round. Thanks.

It's interesting to me that most perps tend to wear sunglasses or otherwise hide their eyes while leaving the rest of their face uncovered, while this perp went the opposite direction and hid only the bottom part of his face. Does he have a moustache or a beard, maybe?

The screen caps of the video are hard to work with. The only thing that was concentrated on was the face. There was no distortions done to the face. Just changing to black and white, sharpening the image and bumping to a higher quality. Maybe someone else can make a better one. Jmo

Police should check local eyeglass shops to see who purchased that type of frame.

What is the perps mouth covered with? And interesting how he'd go to all of the trouble to disguise himself and yet not cover his face/eyes which would be very easy to do with sunglasses or safety googles.

Yes I agree now with this picture. In the first pictures you posted of the hammer it looked like a regular hammer. This looks more like the pick axe in the Minecraft game my kids play.

It almost looks like this "Adamantite Cross-Pein Hammer" that is found in video games.

IF this was someone who was jealous of MB and IF they thought thier significant other was paying her too much attention and they killed in a fit of jealousy, then it would stand to reason that the significant other would have to know by now. So, I am beginning to doubt that theory. JMO.

It may be a thrill kill. Some totally psychotic person.

We have no idea what the motive is and that's driving me crazy because, truly, all we can do is speculate.

New to WS and new to this discussion. Forgive me if I am rehashing things already discussed. Some thoughts...

1) The odd gait of this person seems in part to me to be affected because the person is walking consciously on his/her heels. Notice how weight is never placed on the toes. Most likely, as some others have suggested, because the shoes are larger than the feet. Try it yourself. Walking on your heels like that and turning a foot out will definitely give you a distinctive gait - and hide the way you normally walk.

2) The tool that this person is carrying appears to me to be a 5.11 multisledge. Tactical gear designed for forced entry and could definitely be a terrible weapon. If it was truly left behind, then the killer seems not to be concerned that this kind of gear can probably be traced by purchase history. Does anyone else agree or have a definitive reason it is not this item?

3) The storm that night, the small amount of time between her death and the arrival of the first CG-er, and the fact that there is only one driveway entrance/exit off a major highway makes one wonder how this person entered and exited the church grounds. Driveway seems overly risky, and given the amount of care this person took to protect his/her identity, it seems unlikely. But equally unlikely is it that he/she would choose to leave foot and/or tire tracks in the mud to go toward the airport or through fenced fields on either side to get to transportation.

4) Though this is probably a stretch, I've wondered if perhaps Missy became caught in someone else's road rage in or on her way home from Austin (not long before her death) and the offender was patient in exacting revenge. The person could have been in LE somewhere or have access to new license plate databases and looked her up (hopefully LE has already researched if anyone did so) and then plotted the deed.

Noticed that the article states that the tool the perp was carrying throughout the building was found near body with other tools from the church. From the church? First time I've seen that.

I don't see where it says the tool was left by her body, only that the wounds were consistent with the type of tool the suspect was seen carrying throughout the video. Maybe I missed this? I'm getting confused again..

This is excellent! This looks like a young person to me. That might explain why tools were used for this murder. This person might not have been old enough to buy a gun! I wonder if MB had broken up a friendship one of her older children may have had? Just some more speculation. IMO

There are clear double sets of doors at the main entrance, but to me anyway, I haven't seen a double set of doors for the side entrance that Missy used. Both entrances are connected to the main hallway and that might be why as you're thinking of the other entrance where pictures of that have been posted on here.

If you look at the part of the video when the Dutch doors are being opened, that "EXIT" sign is out to the carport entrance. It is also a place of a double set of doors, where you can see the inner ones are propped open.

Thanks for posting the magnified image. Two things:

1. Magnify the photo more and look at the eyes. Does it look like the right eye turns inward, like a lazy eye?

2. Why is the person so interested in covering up the bottom part of the face? Is it because there is something distinctive there, such as facial hair?
