I assume he was said to be alone by the witnesses of the potential sightings?
Yesterday was the first I’d heard of the Covent Garden sighting, but as far as the Pizza Hut “sighting” I don’t think anyone has ever mentioned Andrew being with anyone.

Could it be possible that this wasn’t Andrew’s first solo trip to London? I wonder if there were other times he told his parents he was going to a friends for the day or camp or somewhere and instead spent the day/half day in London? This could open up a whole new range of possibilities to foul play. I know this isn’t the same, but at that age I used to tell my parents I was staying the night at a friends and stay out all night instead. They believed I was at a friends and they never knew what I was really up to.

I also wonder if it is possible that he did take a train home that day, maybe even in time to be home at his usual time, and something happened to him much closer to home? I can’t think of any reason why he would be making a quick trip to London though.

Final thought, if he was going to see a concert, I wonder if his dad or mom would have just taken him to the concert that night if he wanted to go so badly? Maybe they would have and that is why his parents don’t think he went for a concert.

Very little is mentioned, but when spreading the word about Andrew's disappearance, it must be taken into account that he also has a middle name: Paul.
Welcome to Ws ckn120, thanks for the middle name reminder!

Thank you very much
His middle name is something that little is mentioned and many do not know. Keeping it in mind is important.

I'm from the Reddit community where he set out to check out the Flickr photos. It has been an interesting option, although at the moment there is nothing precise. I take this space to make a call that if someone here has an album with photos in London from September 2007, that they review them. London is a very photographed city, so it should not be ruled out that Andrew may appear in an image that can help to piece together the puzzle about his whereabouts after leaving King Cross station.

I don’t necessarily agree he was groomed let alone by someone he met at the G&T but would someone with the attributes you describe possibly wear an outfit like the man on the right in this photo:?

That is TOTALLY him. Have you shared this with the police? This is an incredible find. Who is that man he is with?! OMG...

I shared it with the charity Missing People which is the families preferred option for this sort of thing. Can I ask everyone’s opinion; does the bald man this person is with look like he is wearing the uniform of an armed British Transport Police officer circa 2007? (Possibly off duty - no headgear) I am sure some people on here will have more knowledge on this than me.

What makes you feel so sure, @Officer Dibble ? Can you explain your thought process?

IMO its him. Plain and simple. JMO MOO. The man with 'him' is easily identifiable. If the Police did a 'do you recognise this man' they should be able to trace him.

Edit: Can we tell any heights from this photo of the man and the lad?

I have done a shadow simulation on this site: http:// shadowcalculator.eu

Contrary to my previous post the shadows in the photo appear to correspond with the photo being taken at 17:36:15.

and what are the other timings? Last seen in covent garden at what time? Possible sighting in Covent Garden at... ?

It could be or equally it could just be a black/dark blue T-shirt with white logo or writing. It’s one of those photos that’s frustratingly clear at a split second glance but when you try and study it, it loses definition.

I’m convinced I can see the reflection of glasses on “A”, but am I just wanting to see it? I’d say the man is wearing glasses too.

I have never seen a reliable source for the time of the Covent Garden sighting. It is often assumed to be in the afternoon or it is just referred to as being after the Pizza Hut sighting. Both sightings are unconfirmed of course.

Does the bald man look like they are wearing a stab vest or a gilet to you? If I was able to get down to Trafalgar Square I would measure the balustrade to get an indication of the heights of the people in the photo.

A few posts back I clarified this because I was also confused. This was found on the BBC website:

Andrew Gosden: The boy who disappeared

"Since Andrew's disappearance there have been dozens of unconfirmed sightings from across the UK.
The family believe the most plausible place him at Pizza Hut on Oxford Street on the day he went missing and later in Covent Garden."
