Is this bridge on the way to the train station?
Yes. But it seems almost impossible to know which ones are accident, suicide or even foul play if there's no CCTV.I actually think it's important to know what happened (when possible) because this (men on a night out ending up in water) happens far too often.
Yes it’s normal, the updates are not needed anymore.Once a deceased missing person is found is it the norm for the police to remove their previous website and social media updates ?
There's usually a statement to the effect of the death not being deemed to be suspicious, but I haven't seen anything along those lines yet. Maybe too soon.
What is it with men out drinking, they always seem to find the nearest body of water to fall into?Nope. Opposite direction. The bridge (and in fact the whole river) is away from and beyond anywhere that Anthony would have needed to go. That's why it's so strange he ended up in the water.

I do not mean to be flippant but as you said his pub crawl was nowhere near the river.
Every few weeks, sometimes more often, this happens...

There's a statement on Sussex Police website stating that a body believed to be him was found.I was just surprised to find all police info immediately removed..even the news updates from the police website..but if normal not odd then

They did look there. Its in the Mirror article quoted above.Have only just seen this on the news just now, extremely sad but just where Hitthenick said he would be based on his extensive knowledge and surprised the police didn’t look there before, terrible tragedy, sympathy to his loved ones.
well I imagine his family will want to know, as will the coroner. No need to have a go at me.....
And sky news have written that Police said his phone was turned off shortly after he left the pub
