she does know her colours street lights or none
white never is dark blue
.

I always got beige and navy confused with each other until I was about 10....I just couldn't remember which was which...lol....of course I knew blue from white though, just not being in an English speaking country I rarely heard the other words. Perhaps this child speaks Welsh?

I thought this thread was about April Jones..............

It is!!! We are in a bit of a lulll with information. The natural thing to do, is look to the past and look for clues with similar cases. Similar = similar vicitim, similar circumstances, similar community, similar LE... etc.... As you can see, there are a LOT of variables. One of the good things about comparing the current case to past cases, is that it keeps the case on the front of the page. When people stop talking about a case, we are in trouble.

It is Jasper, there's been questions or posts not believing MB could have done this due to having children of his own. For me, I'm digging deep to remember cases that might have a perp that would fit this description. My opolgies as I know it can be annoying when wanting asnwers for April.

xoxo

Don't say that I am vilifying the parents when I ask why a 5 year old is out playing alone and also not in bed at that time. How she is being raised and the level of care she has received is important. Apparently she has been in this car before....she was playing on her bike that evening but it has not been taken for forensics, then they say she took it home and came back to play? All of this in 5 mins? Anyway, how many times has she been out playing alone, and where cars can access? Has her house been searched? If she had been for a ride in the car a few days earlier, then perhaps this time was the same and she was dropped home. Where is the house search?

I agree.

I know for a fact that twitter is flying like the wind. I've never seen such support in social media here in the US. It has slowed while people sleep but it's a furry when they are awake. Many countries too. I've read that facebook comments are overwhelming too. I only wish some of our cases in the US had such an outpour. May April be found!

From what I've seen, any time there is a CONFIRMED non family abduction, the entire world listens. Problem is there are rarely ever witnesses to confirm. People aren't generally as upset when they hear a family member took them, or no explanation to it. The "it could have been me" is in full affect in witnessed non family abductions....not necessarily nation related.
Kyron Horman in Oregon for example. He got huge worldwide attention because he vanished from school. Although no one witnessed it, people all had the thought in mind, "If he could get taken from school, so could my kid"

Does anyone else think it strange that April's father Iis not involved. I know he's supposed to have a degenerative eye condition but if it was my daughter I would move heaven and earth for them. Also he didn't appear at the police appeal... just think it's strange..

I have never seen tweets fly on other missing children cases like for April, myself. Makes my heart happy to see it. That's all. There is a witness from last I heard. Many other statements have been in the news but only the police know the truth actually except the perp and possibly the witness(s). They sure are mapping his timeline out from the news, if true.

Just an update, nothing much new. Who's good to post as far as news?

I believe that's mere speculation, a result of the varying stories flying around, but the bike being back in the garden's niggled at me too. It could simply be that someone returned it from where April left it, and the police saw no need for forensic testing, if they are going on the premise she walked into the car without being forced, ie, no abductor touched the bike. There's no way we can possibly know her previous outdoor playing habits.

It's not been confirmed if the house has been searched yet, though as there's been little to no camera coverage of the house over the past day or so, it's a possibility. IMO it should have been done after 24hours had passed. It may well have.

If she had been in the car and dropped back at home a couple of days before, there's every possibility that could've been the case this time too. Another thing that's crossed my mind more than once since hearing of it. But again, no confirmation from official sources on this either. Understandable, though frustrating when desperate for news,

I don't know him but he looks older and well, older in the pictures I've seen. Loss of eyesight sucks as a lot of your sight is by memory of where objects are placed. If he has trouble with vision he might not be well suited to travel uneven ground. jmo

This POI must be quite the ladies lad about the estate...
I wonder if most of the ladies he hooked up with had young children when he began dating them? Just a thought...some men who turn out to be predators look for single moms.

I didn't think he looked that old. I think the older person in many of these photos is the mother's step-father.
I personally find it very odd that he has not been more public during the search for April.

Is this April's dad? If not oh mamma, I agree where is he? That's actually the only picture I remember seeing of him now that I thought of it. I'm sure there's others.

I just hope that MB stays for a bit (or a while) until this is figured out and April is found. I hope Dad comes out tomorrow in the news & is strong enough to do so.

For a man who has barely a relationship with eldest son, why would he be attending a parents evening?
He had 3 other children from other partners living locally and possibly attending that school

For a man with a vehicle he seems to do a fair bit of walking/public transport.
His car was in a repair facility at the time he was spotted walking

7am here. Not an update as such, but was watching coverage of the specialist search teams earlier. What a fantastic job these people are doing in awful conditions, pitch black and chucking it down, knowing what they're searching for. Over the past few days and nights taking some rest in the leisure centre. My heart nearly stopped when 2 large rescue ambulances came crawling up the road, 'till it dawned they'll be in place for the rescuers themselves, if need be. It's such a sad, sad sight. But these people are truly wonderful.

Listening to the Mayor Gareth Jones talking of this 'fund' and it kinda riles me, though I know people would be doing it from the goodness of their heart. This man just said it would be used for Aprils' family. Wonderful if she's returned safe and sound...... It would be heart lifting if any monies raised were to be donated to the amazing search and rescue volunteer services who rely on charitable donations. The abuse of the fund set up for another little 'abducted' British girl has probably soured me on that score. Just sayin', so i'll leave it there. Except to hope for some positive news today.

ETA: Didn't realise I hadn't pressed submit, it's nearer 8am now.

Ah thank you, it was the first i'd heard about the bike found on Sky News just.

I still don't understand the reports that she was out on her bike though, she was quite far from her home looking at the map (ie. not right outside). Did she take it home and go back out? Wasn't she on her bike at all?

Agree it's odd about the bike. Perhaps she just left it by the garages and someone else took it back to her garden? No idea.

The map in this link states it's ~250 feet from her house to the garage area where she reportedly got into the vehicle.
