I know I can't copy and paste but an interesting post came saying witnesses had seen MB in Aberystwyth 'asleep' in his car on Monday afternoon, another was said to have seen him in a Bow Street Pub and one of the timings would have conflicted with the 'blackbag' witness.
(

Surely the "black bag" man was seen on the Tuesday - or did you mean that the alleged Bow Street sighting was also on Tuesday?

Yes, I wasn't criticizing HONEST :please:
Was worth showing, Thank you, I just can't see the likeness.

ps: I think you may have taken some of my posts as a personal rant at you, and I'm truly sorry if you have.

I know I have done this before. It is such a frustrating case that I think sometimes are posts are written when feeling 'passionate/emotive' and possibly taken the wrong way. We also have several countries input so sometimes what is one phrase or term in one country can be something different in another. JMO

I think you bring some great posts and thoughts to the group and that's what makes it worth taking part!!:please:

The Aussie vernacular IS different :-) - although we do mostly watch UKTV and my family are from there.

Just to say, I'm not an accredited specialist or whatever they call it on here because I don't want to be, but I am legally trained if you get my drift. The lecturer who taught us criminal law was originally from UK, we got all the UK law and interesting cases back to the brides in the bath and so on, and it was brilliant.
When he taught us trial procedure amongst other things he used DVD's of Rumpole to show technique!
A more contemporary show which is actually excellent for procedure is Judge John Deed (and Silks).
Some of my posts may seem to come from a different angle but it's probably the background and the way we're taught to analyse EVERYTHING.

That was in response to someone elses post, in which was said that they looked alike. I saw a similarity in the court drawings, but that could be because of the artist's style. Should have made that a bit clearer sorry.

I also don't think there is any link. But will have a look at Sharpe's pic.

Edited to add: I don't see any similarity between both men.

I think the interesting thing is that neither man 'looks like a murderer' - whatever that is meant to be.

Might be a strange thing to say but I respect that Clive Sharpe went in and out of the court without a blanket or anything to disguise himself. Know nothing about the man but just noticed that.

Has anyone else seen this or found anything. I'm trawling through the search bars now. Probably all circumstancial/hearsay....though I did watch a local news report that week that showed Police searching Bins in an Aberystwyth park.
Can't find anything now so it's possibly been pulled! :(
Where did you read those reports? On here?

Don't know who else on here looks at FB family pages with 'find April' updates, but I've noticed the one who seems most active is AJ's adult cousin who lives in Melb, Aust.

Is Aberystwyth the closest major centre to Mach? For example, if you needed to go to a govt dept, major bank, something like that, is that where you'd go?

Edit: reading about it now.

Also, how far from Aber to Holyhead?

hhmmmm.....

http://www.standard.co.uk/news/crim...task-says-detective-leading-hunt-8194055.html

This could be interpreted as...... a van or a 4x4 IMO

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/video/2012/oct/02/police-april-van-video

why the mention of a Land Rover specifically??

The first link states "That could be interpreted as something small to a Ford Connect van, something like a Land Rover"

But it also says "The colour has not changed, that's as we initially gave it - grey."

I would have thought that if they had MB down as a suspect they would have already ran his details and known that he owned a Blue landrover. It gives me the impression they were witholding correct details as otherwise it just doesn't seem to add up.

A two-hour drive. (Google Maps will help you with routes and distances.)

Wait, from Aber? nearer 3 hours then.

Thank you. Thinking of the Dun Laoghaire ferry. Got photos of Granny in the 50's with cousins on it (coming across from Ireland for visit)

folks: again, it is not okay to post facebook pages of citizens just because their name appeared in a media article. You can post the official facebook backed by the family, media facebook, and the facebook of the victim and the perp. That is it. I will be starting a new thread and will put social media rules at the top of the page for another review.

That's a thought. I haven't been on that ferry since the mid 90s, so maybe the rules have tightened up but the last time I was on it I don't remember any passport checks or any other kind of tight security.

Never heard of this site before - yopsy.com which I came across by accident. The page came up with a search for MB and further down the page there is a post by a Mary Johnson.

There are several 'quotes' by neighbours mentioned in her article that I am not aware of hearing before. Strange thing is she sites the below as her source:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2212257/April-Jones-Suspect-Mark-Bridgers-son-joins-search-help-missing-April.html#ixzz28G0acJ4L

But some of the information the article writer gives is not in the above report.

Sorry nurse, but it's April's cousin who lives in Australia. She has been posting on behalf of the family and updates every day.
What I meant by her name in the media was that she has already been named as part of the family so not posting private information that I shouldn't be.

The desperate mother of April Jones has refused to give up hope of finding her daughter and begged: “Just bring her back.”

Speaking through the Facebook page of April’s cousin Mel Moon, Coral Jones said: “Please, please keep looking for April she must come home, it’s been too long now, just bring her back I don’t care where you have been just bring her home now.”

In another post the 40-year-old said: “Please, please keep looking for my baby girl April she should be home with us all now. Just please, please come home to us all.

“Everyone is missing you. Everyone is looking for so please come home.”
