So much craziness in this story already. The fishnet stockings and dress which were first reported as missing (hence the sleepover story), that have now been found under the bed, and it’s since been changed to murder. Hands up everyone if you know the exact amount of undergarments anyone in your family owns- personally I would never notice a missing pair of tights or socks etc- a certain dress or top probably- but not a pair of tights.

“Police officers were today standing guard outside the family's modern terraced home which was cordoned off with police tape.

Specialist forensic officers were seen going in and out of the house along with a police dog handler and her spaniel sniffer dog.”
Woman in her 30s is arrested over murder of missing teenager, 17 | Daily Mail Online

how confusing and earth shattering this must feel to her 8 younger siblings :(

Just want to do some math. So mom is 39, BW is 17, so mom had her at 22. Dad is 50, so he was 33. There's an 11 year age difference between the parents. Now, they have 9 kids. That means they've had a kid every other year or so, unless there are twins. Not counting any lost pregnancies either. Youngest is 6 months. Very interesting family dynamics. This poor girl was probably responsible for helping care for her younger siblings.

So what we know so far:
  • Woman in 30s and man age 50 arrested for murder.
  • Victim's mom is in her 30s and dad is age 50.
  • Victim's parents have nine (!!) (now eight, I suppose :() children including a 6-month-old infant. That's a lot and must be very stressful.
Mom quoted as saying 'I can't eat or sleep properly. I miss and love my eldest princess so much, she's missing out on her baby sister, who has learned to smile and coo already.' Speaks about herself and how her missing daughter affects her, then segues to random comment about her youngest infant daughter cooing and smiling perhaps to show what a good mom she is. It's all about the mom and nothing about the missing daughter. I know that's just one quote, but... I don't have a good feeling about this.

Edited to correct ages of suspects.

I think similar happened with Chris Watts, the guilty often go out their way to make themselves look perfect and include random facts or info when giving statements. Was it Tia Sharpe whose step grandad mentioned the sausage rolls?
