If they lie it would be, most probably, in order to keep it away from their current partner and not necessarily because they are guilty of harming her .Sometimes people lie
Especially during a murder investigationSometimes people lie

Exactly this. How can you possibly compile a list of platonic friends if you take on face value that they said they never had a fling with her when actually they did but denied it albeit to protect their marriage/partnershipIf they lie it would be, most probably, in order to keep it away from their current partner and not necessarily because they are guilty of harming her .
Seems a reasonable theory. Going back to you. Just say you and your friend confronted the man at home and no one else was there. He laughed, one of you lost your temper, lifted a candlestick (lol) and bashed him over the head. He ends up dead on the floor. What would your plan be. Leave the body and make it look like a burglary. Ring a friend with contacts to make it disappear. Stage the crime scene to make it look like an abduction . Whatever you decided to do, it would change your life forever. Can you imagine living with that guilt, waiting for the day the truth comes out.Once, looong time ago, another woman and I were friends, but not very close, living in different towns. We had met a certain man in our recent past at the same time. When we had talks on telephone, one day it happened, that we both found out: this male acquaintance, we had, was telling us both alternately being interested in us seriously. The other woman and I were interested in him also and a little in love, without knowing of his double game, so our shock was palpable.
The other woman and I then planned to confront him, while out to a restaurant in my town, where he couldn't easily escape. And so we did (in a decent way) and felt better afterwards.
My thought: Claudia could have had a visit by two women even, who allied because they were fed up. Maybe, an "accident" happened and they got help.

Same here. I couldn't live with myself.I would have relied on someone else's ideas, if I hadn't wanted to confess. Since then, I would have had fear, that someone would talk one day. Maybe, I would have had a nervous breakdown sometime or other illnesses. Maybe, I would drink a lot since the "incident" or take medications or both. I would look over my shoulder every day, every minute. I would have fear to hear the phone ringing, the doorbell ringing. - I wouldn't have had a career in my job. I would be looking unhealthy, sick, unattractive despite make-up. - Thank God, I'm not a murderer and I'm not owning a candlestick at home.
Have you ever visited the nags head, has anyone on here?sorry if it has been asked before. I’m just curious in regards to your last sentence. The article above seems to be very precise and we realise an ‘acrimonious split’ is not a divorce.Divorce often comes much later !
Re couple on Melrosebridge the man was 5’6” that makes him same height as Claudia !
Now the man going to the back of her house looks taller to me !
But if it was the same man the time line gives him plenty of time ( with a car ) to go back to her place to pick something incriminating !
He would have her front door key !
Re my list of platonic relationship with C , can I add M S ? Plus L M ?
Also reading the article how come we know very little about the men she met in Cuba ?
She stayed with LM a ‘few’ times plus other times with his friends .
Also they went to see her in York a tourist place with such an attractive ‘ guide’ where are all the holiday snaps from Cuba,Manchester and York !?
Ethnicity perhaps?
Same here. I couldn't live with myself.[/QUOTE few drinks heated conversation, built up frustration.snap! One split second and you did not mean for them to fall down the stairs! It’s an accident you justify that to yourself. Prison ? What if someone turned up at the door and Claudia was with there husband, went upstairs and caught them? Shouting /scuffle /accident. Would the man cover his wife for example?
No I have never visited the NH and yes , I’m curious as I think you are<modsnip: removed racial enquiry>Have you ever visited the nags head, has anyone on here?sorry if it has been asked before. I’m just curious in regards to your last sentence.
Nobody held the bedside lamp probably, so who should know exactly?Ok does anyone know how many actually did ( have sex relationship) and denied it ?
I think a lot of Exaggeration is going on here .But this will be my last comment on the subject .
No, but I’ll go as soon as it reopens.Have you ever visited the nags head, has anyone on here?sorry if it has been asked before. I’m just curious in regards to your last sentence.

Not my scene, I’m afraid. Either it’s quite small, or it’s ‘deep’ and on more than one floor. I’ve gone past it a couple of times and assumed it was an Indian restaurant. Reviews on Tripadvisor aren’t great...@AcbMurders did you or any of your friends ever go to the Vudu Lounge Nightclub?
We know Claudia and 'friends' had nights out in the town centre I was just wondering if the Vudu Club would have been a club of choice to visit

well, you never know, but I doubt it for the reason I gave a few posts above...too much of a coincidence with the apparently significant drugs activity around the area.
